He saw her merely as another body
to use and get rid of
after he had his fill,
Never once considering her feelings; that she was a human being,
But oh how she fell for him.
She fell for his smile,
How it lit up his face.
His eyes,
How they sparkled just right,
And told stories of
Endless seas,
In a mesmerizing
Hue of blue.
How he said things to her.
That made her feel beautiful,
Wanted.
How utterly blinded she was
to his true intentions.
But in her defense...
He was a good pretender.
