They asked me what happened,
Where my heart went.
I haven't always been this way;
Cold and heartless.
You see those kids there?
I used to be one of them,
Believe it or not.
Happy;
Alive;
But look at me now,
Numb and lifeless,
A piece of withering grass,
Mercilessly blow to and fro
By the wind.
All my joy stripped away,
Merely waiting for something
To change;
For life to get better.
But I'm not sure it will.I'm not sure what happened.
