My mind is a deep, vast, valley
Full of an array of pits and craters.
Some the depth of the mighty seas.
While others mere holes
barely scratching the surface.
Different areas housing all sorts of
Thoughts and emotions.
Pain and fear
being my most frequent guests,
How they visit often.
Their familiar hands holding a tight grasp upon me, making themselves quite at home
I'm trying
To push them out,
But the longer they stay,
The harder it seems to weaken their grasp upon my mind.
Negative thoughts and insecurities
Scattering wherever they see fit.
But even with the bad, there is still beauty
In my thoughts.
After all, there cannot be bad without good. For if there was not, how would you know the difference?
