As always. Unedited.

Sorry it took too long. :)

................. .

The day of the wedding is coming much nearer. After the two of them got back from their mini vacation they were faced with the upcoming wedding but Jacinta's magic make the preparation all sorted out and arranged already leaving Cassandra worry free about her very own wedding. What was left however for her is to have one final goodbye with her past. She felt like she needed to look back again, to glance one last time at her sorrow before totally jumping into a new life, a new page or maybe, a totally new book. .a book two. A version of her life with more positivity and liveness or more happiness with Jem and his vibrant family.

She sighed then

She breathed as she reminisce her life, 15 years after. . . 15 long years after the tragedy that broke her family, and yet there she is, looking finally and taking courage to take a leap of faith both in God and in Emily that someday everything will just be right, finally all right.

Wearing a black long cottony sleeves and a black fitted jeans she marched up and went to their old house. She didn't meant to look gothic but the color was just appropriate for her mood today for she feel so gloomy and sad, soon her world would change and she knew she can't help it, all she asked is to atleast see it one last time as she stepped into another one.

Sighing, Cassandra stepped inside their old house, it was still the same when they left it almost eight years ago except that its paint already faded and no one is already living in it. The house look sad and dull, but the memories were imprinted in every corner, she smile. Its been a long time, but it feels like home. Feels like she've never left, they've never left all along.

Her eyes went teary for a moment and she release a laugh. She must be crazy but she never care. Years of pain and she never easily cry. Not even in her parents funeral but now that she's alone and empty, crying seems the only way out.

She roam the sala, look at it bitterly and took a half smile. It was little and dusty and old but its been theirs for so long. She reach for the divider and look at its emptiness. Its been full of photos and stuff before, now all it has was cobwebs and some old magazines and newspaper piled in.

She blew the dust off and pick the newspaper, it was quiet old but the newspaper had survived time. The paper portrayed a huge picture, the tragedy made it to the front page as it resulted to huge casualties. The photo shows whack down buss down cliff. It has a bold clippings underneath that says 'Bus accidents killed nearly thirty people, and injured ten and so on.'

She slowly drop it and turn to held again another one, this time the front page captures the funeral. A silent black and gray with masses of people in solemn faces wearing their black attire for the prayer mass for those who died in the accident.  The picture was sad but it didn't capture the whole ache in that scenario.

No. It didn't.

She look up trying to push back the tears in her eyes. She reminded herself she make it this far, she could make it farther couldn't she?

She close her eyes deeply and tried to remember her promise. Once more.

"Its just you and me now. ." she repeated the word from her memory. It was used to be, but not now. She gritted her teeth with the thought. She knew something were not just meant to last but she cant still accept the change.

Her sister, she never thought that one day they'll be walking on separate roads now but she just hope they will reunite soon.

Hopefully soon enough.
