I locked my legs and squinted my eyes to see the stranger that saved me.

He approached carefully, as if he didn't want to scare me.

"Miss are you ok do you need me to call an ambulance-WHAT THE FUCK", he yelled.

Causing me to flinch back and tear up.

"Mercy? Darlin'?", the man asked a little softer but still furiously.

I whimpered.

I fucking whimpered.

"Mercy, baby, it's me. Kody? The one you hate? You threw a tissue box at me this mornin'?", he chuckled at the last bit, but sobered up immediately.

I sniffled.

But then burst into another round of tears.

Kody had just seen a glimpse of what I've been hiding from for the past two years.

My legs folded in on me, and I went tumbling towards the ground.

Thick strong arms caught me, and I clung onto him for dear life.

He locked his arms around me, so tight that I don't think I could have gotten out even if I wanted to.

It's fine because I didn't want to.

So we stayed like that for for a while.

"Mercy? Baby? Do you want me to call someone?", he murmured into my hair.

"T", I chocked.

Without unlatching himself from me he pulled his phone out of his pocket, and clicked on her contact.

"Hey T, something happened with Mercy-"

I heard yelling over the phone.

I let out a snort.

He spent a few minutes talking to her, and filling her in on everything that happened.

His arms tightened around me every time I started shaking.

"Jesus T, I got it handled. We're going to head out-"

I heard more yelling.

He pulled the phone from his ear, offering it to me.

"She wants to talk to you", he said with a pained expression.

With a shaky hand I grasp the phone, and bring it to my ear.

I was met with silence.

"It was him wasn't it?", she said in a chillingly low voice.

My sudden sniffles confirmed it to her.

"Cece, love-", she cut herself of by also sniffling.

We both were seconds away from bursting into tears.

"Also why is the Great Wall of China aka Kody calling you T? That's my thing", I huffed.

Kody's snickers wracked my body, and I felt myself smile into the phone.

"Don't worry babe next time he does it I'll kick him in the balls", she giggled.

"Hey", Kody pouted.

"Shut up", both me and Teagen said at the same time.

A smile made its way onto my face.

Kody was watching me with intense eyes.

They suddenly flashed cold.

"It's time to go", he said blankly.

Here we go again with the hot and cold.

"Bye love you", I said quietly into the phone as I head to my car.
