The first thing that happened when I walked into the dojo was Teagen quietly lifting Bia's carrier out of my hands.

Putting it down.

And literally assaulting me.

She threw herself at me.

"Honey, oh my God l, I knew I have driven to your place last night", she rambled.

I laughed to cover up the lump in my throat.

"I'm fine Teagen, really", I gave her a small smile.

"Say that to the shiner on your face", a masculine voice snorted from behind us.

I narrowed my eyes

"My day was officially ruined by you", I bit

"Aw nice to know that I effect you this much", he cooed.

I frowned.

I opened my mouth to retort, but Bia started crying from the floor her carrier was placed on.

"Awww are you crying because your mommy is a bit-", Kody started.

I slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Don't cuss in front of her", I hissed.

I didn't feel like correcting him on the mom part, he would just ask more questions.

Questions I didn't want to answer.

He narrowed his eyes, and smacked my hand away.

"Don't touch me", he sneered.

"Or what?", I asked sarcastically

A secretive grin rose to his face.

All of a sudden he tackled me.

"What the fuc-", I yelled.

He slapped a hand over my mouth.

"No cursing in front of the baby", he mocked.

"What are you doing", I hissed.

He shot me a grin.

He didn't say anything as he stood up, and marched away

My jaw must have been on the floor at this point,

I looked to Teagen in disbelief.

She was struggling to keep in her laughter.

I narrowed my eyes.

"Traitor", I hissed.

She just snorted and walked with Kody to the back room.

It must have been a week later when I got a knock on my front door.

It was nearly two in the morning, and I was busy studying for an exam.

I dialed Teagen.

"Hey Cece what's up", she chirped.

"T, someone's pounding on my door", I whispered.

I heard an intake of breath.

"Babe, I told you I was going to Utah for the week. Do you want me to call the cops", she asked in a shaky voice.

"You know how I feel about cops", I shuddered

She cursed under her breath.

"I'm calling Kody-", she started.

"No-", I protested

"I don't care Mercy, I'm not letting you stay by yourself.", She said.

"Fine, but I need you to tell him to park on the street behind my house, and come through the back. I don't know who is out there", I shuddered again.
