Kiryu stood in front of Hiruzen's grave, paying his respects to the fallen Hokage.
Kiryu:(mind) Rest easy now, gramps.
He walks away, seeing Konohamaru standing outside the graveyard.
Kiryu:...
Konohamaru:...
Kiryu: You don't have to hold back here.
(Elsewhere)
Jiraiya sat on a bench, only recently arriving back from a little trip he was on, taking out the majority of the forces Orochimaru planned on using to conquer the village.
Jiraiya:(sigh)... Being old sucks.
???: Jiraiya.
Jiraiya:?
He turns to two older people, who were part of the council The Hidden Leaf possessed.
One was an elderly woman named Koharu, the other was a man named Homura.
Koharu: The village needs a Hokage. And the only one the council sees fit to fill that role...
Koharu: Is one of the Legendary Sannin.
Homura: It's time you carry on the Will of Fire, Jiraiya.
Jiraiya: Me? The Hokage... Pushing papers, giving inspirational speeches, and doing politics?
Jiraiya: Sorry. But I'm too young to do something like that.
Koharu: Jiraiya. You're the only one fit to do the job.
Jiraiya:(chuckles)... Wrong. There is another.
Jiraiya: If you are looking for a Sannin then there is only one fit to take the role.
Homura: But no one knows where she is.
Jiraiya: Correction. You don't know where she is. Give me two months, and I'll get you your Hokage.
Homura: Two months?
Jiraiya: One to get there, one to get back.
Homura/Koharu:(murmuring)...

...
Koharu: Fine. Two months. But if you fail, you must promise to-
Jiraiya: Yeah, yeah. If I can't get her, I have to become Hokage.
Jiraiya: But to guarantee my success... I am going to need some help.
Koharu: We'll get you our top black ops-
Jiraiya: L-let's forget about the black ops! I have someone specific in mind.
Koharu: Who?
Jiraiya: I want to bring The Dragon of Konoha.
Koharu: Huh?
Jiraiya: The jinchuriki. But you better get used to that title. Because when I'm done with him...
Jiraiya:(smirks) That's what he'll be.
