(f/f) = favorite food

your legs strolled their way through the empty road of your neighborhood. you glanced at the moon as you continued to chew the (f/f) you just bought from the store earlier.

it hasn't even been 24 hours since you felt the agonizing pain in your head, yet you were walking up to your favorite place while enjoying your favorite food.

your steps came to a halt seeing a familiar figure on the swing before continuing, but slower and quieter. a slight smile crept across your face, seeing him.

seems like this place isn't only for me anymore.

his hair swayed with the wind as he swung carelessly on the swing he was on. the tattoo on his arm shone under the streetlight, catching your attention just like the first time you met him.

though it's not the first time you've seen it, you couldn't help but stare in awe as it complimented him perfectly.

I'll never get used to it

as you walked closer to him, you realized that he was closing his eyes. finally reaching your swing, you sat quietly and began to join him.

his swing stopped almost instantly as he whipped his head towards your swing which he thought was empty.

"Hey, Xiao" you greeted him as his shoulders relaxed realizing it was you.

"When did you get here?" he asked you, going back to enjoying the coolness of the midnight wind.

"just now" you answered him, continuing to eat your unfinished food.

"what are you doing here?" a minute passed with complete silence before you asked him.

"Just thought I needed some fresh air"

"Are you feeling better now?" and to that, Xiao answered you with a hum.

"what are you doing here? it hasn't even been 24 hours since you fainted" he asked you concernedly.

"don't worry, I'm feeling so much better now" you flashed him a smile to which he answered with silence.

between all the sounds the swing made, a low growl entered your ear, and just as quickly you turned your head to the source of the sound.

"was that a growl just now?"  you asked Xiao whose face was looking in the other direction.

you waited for an answer just to be ignored. you took another bite of your favorite food as you tried to figure out the sound that you just heard.

suddenly, a rather weird yet not unbelievable idea came into your mind. you stared at your food for a solid ten seconds before glancing at Xiao.

"Xiao... have you eaten dinner yet?"

"no... but I'm not hungry" hearing that you just snickered.

he whipped his head and you couldn't help but tease him, "it seems that your stomach says otherwise"

before he could say anything else, you reached for your tote bag and pulled out a plastic container. Inside, there was the almond tofu that you just bought to eat for breakfast.

you held out your hand, offering it to him. his eyes went wide for a split second before staring at yours as if asking if he could eat it.

seeing you nod your head, he wasted no time snatching the almond tofu from your grasp. he thanked you before shooting you a questioning look as he devoured the almond tofu.

you couldn't help but smile at the view you're looking at, "I didn't buy it for you. nor am I a psychic. I bought it because I happened to like the almond tofu you made"

hearing that, he stopped and muttered a "sorry"

"it was supposed to be my breakfast. I can just buy it again later. besides, you really helped me yesterday" you quickly added to assure him.
