A few days had passed since I began to search for Jungkook.

"You called, abeoji?"

"Yes. Sit there... Mr. Song, when did you say the meeting that Seo Hyunjung suggested was?"

"Yes, it's the first Saturday of next month."

(A/N: Looking through the REAL Year 2022, it is May 7th.)

Ah, this is what we discussed at the inauguration ceremony last time. I didn't go to the ceremony as I was spending time with Jungkook, but it's something I'd already heard in a previous loop.

"Yes. Seokjin will have to attend, so make sure to take care of him."

I'm waiting quitely fof abeoji to finish talking, when...

"Oh, did you take care of the incident?"

"Yes. Do you mean the one concerning the Jeil High student?" ... Student? "I've taken care of the issue with the student."

My unanswered questions suddenly solved. Why Jungkook transferred schools without prior notice, and why it was so hard to find where he'd gone. Now I know who's responsible. It was all abeoji's doing! As soon as I realize, my heart begins to race.

"Great. Where did you say the next appointment was?"

"Yes, Assemblyman. I'll lead you there now." Abeoji and Junho samcheon walk past me.

"Abeoji... You transferred Jungkook away?" That's what I want to ask him, but I can't open my mouth.

They've let it slip on purpose to warn me. Getting angry solves nothing.

"Seokjin. You do know how difficult it was because you didn't attend the inauguration, right?"

"Yes, samcheon. I'll make sure to be there this time."

Now, I just... Want to find Jungkook quickly.

It was the wrong choice. I wanted to become someone he could always come to, but I've pushed him even farther away because of it. Is Jungkook okay?

"What do we do?! Jungkook..." Hoseok's voice is wavering. "Jungkook's disappeared. Can you get ahold of him?!"

"What... Do you mean?"

"Some kids from Jungkook's class stopped by today. And they asked if there's anyone who talks to Jungkook often. They said Jungkook's gone missing."
