2022, Apr 19 - Seokjin (Jungkook Transferred School?)

[Place: School]

Weird. School's been out for a while, but Jungkook is nowhere to be seen.

"The number you have dialed isn't in service-."

What's going on? Has something happened to him?

An ominous feeling overtakes me, and I hear someone yelling my name. "Seokjin hyung!" I turn towards the sound to see Hoseok running out of the Two Star Burger across the school. "Wow, it's been a while!"

(A/N: As you see, Hoseok and Seokjin never saw each other from this new loop.)

"Yeah. It has been a while."

"I had heard you were back but I didn't think I'd see you here in front of the school. What are you doing here?"

(A/N: Loop #1: I'm waiting for someone.)

"Oh, I'm waiting for someone."

"Who? Are you waiting for Jungkook?"

"How'd you know?"

"One second. I have something to give you."

(A/N: Loop #2: I have to go.)

"Hoseok-ah, something came up. Sorry. Let's meet up next time."

I try to leave, afraid that meeting Hoseok early will complicate things.

"Wait! I have something to give to you..."

Hoseok digs in his pocket and takes out a piece of paper folded a few times. "Jungkook stopped by the restaurant earlier."

"Jungkook did?" I try to stay calm, focusing on Hoseok's words.

"He said he's switching schools."

"Switching schools? Where to?"

"I'm not sure. He just said it was a better one." This has never happened before. Is it because of me? "Jungkook asked me to make sure you go see this."

It's a drawing of the cherry blossom tree we saw together. He's written a thank you near the bottom. A different number, and sudden school transfer...

"Hyung? Why the long face?"

I hope my suspicions aren't correct. "Thanks for letting me know."

"Hyung? You're okay, right?"

I send a worried Hoseok away, but I remain, standing still for some time.
