2022, May 10 - Seokjin (Hoseok Collapses, Jimin's Plans)

[Places: Bridge, hospital]

Hoseok looks precarious as he walks across the bridge. He seems both shocked and deeply sad. I've made different attempts. But I can't stop Hoseok from collapsing here.

I tried staying with him like I did with Jungkook, or intervening like I did with Yoongi. But Hoseok always runs to the imo from the children's home and collapses on top of this bridge on the way back.

He said it was cancer. My heart pangs on thinking how she looked after the children. But I can't feel hurt now. I have to think about Hoseok. He's going to collapse soon.

Hoseok's frequent collapses before he's admitted to the hospital... this loop weighs heavily on my mind. Something changed in him after he met Dongjin. I regret taking him to the bar to wrap up the day. It's time to send him to the hospital.

Hoseok staggers across the bridge and collapses on the same spot. I call 119 and have Hoseok admitted to the hospital. Hoseok's admitted to the surgical ward and placed in the same hospital room as Jimin. I decided not to visit there because I'm afraid of running into Jimin. I don't know what would happen if I did. Now there's no way to avoid the accident he has in the stairwell.

(A/N: Not mentioned days but I'll include it here. My assumption was May 12 to May 14 only.)

A few days later, I scope out the area where the accident happens. The stairwell between floors 2 and 3. Hoseok follows a woman down these stairs from the 5th floor because he mistakes her for his eommeoni. There's no way the woman I've seen is his eommeoni, considering her age... But Hoseok so desperately calls out "Eomma!"

Now that I think about it... There's a commonality. I think of how Hoseok called for his eommeoni in his sleep at home and the way he cried in front of his imo's house. Everything has to do with "eommeoni."

If Hoseok's narcolepsy is because of "eommeoni," does that mean this accident is connected to the idea of eommeoni, too?

I think of the other loops where I prevented his accident in the stairwell. He gets discharged safely, but continues to collapse from more and more frequent narcoleptic episodes. Until, eventually, he collapses in the street. Maybe his condition gets worse after seeing a woman that reminds him of his eommeoni.

If so... The thoughts continue, one after another, keeping me in the stairwell for a while.

[Place: Hospital]

The loop rewinds itself. If Jimin isn't saved while he's in the surgical ward, he makes his choice days after he returns to the close ward. But it happened too quickly this time. What pushed him?

"No, Jimin-ah! I'm sorry. I was wrong! You can see your friends; you can do anything you want... So please, open your eyes!"

The thing that gets me most is what his eommeoni yelled before the loop ended. She definitely said 'friends.' Was it... Because of me? If I aggravated Jimin's eommeoni and she acted out of the ordinary, and Jimin made his choice as a result... "It's my fault. I made Jimin suffer more."

Even though I've expected losing my friends before, no matter how many it repeats... It never gets any easier. Time to give up on trying to persuade Jimin's eommeoni. It's better not to provoke her.

I change my plan to sneaking out with Jimin, like before. But before that, I decide to focus on a more pressuring issue. I need to be vigilant. Today's the day Hoseok collapses on the bridge.
