The patrons of the Songho Foundation are all gathered in one place. It's the meeting that Seo Hyunjung, the Deputy Mayor, suggested at the inauguration ceremony.

"Why don't we have a regular meeting to discuss community development?"

"Oh, that is a great idea."

"It would be even better if you could invite the city's most prominent citizens and give a speech."

"I will look into it."

Though the pretext of the meeting is to discuss community development, it just ends up being a social gathering to further individual careers. As always.

These gatherings make me uncomfortable. But this time, I'm attending to my own accord. There's someone I need to meet here.

I get comfortable, trying to scope out an opportunity, when she approaches me first. "Oh, hello!" It's... "Nice to meet you, I'm Shim Seonmi." It's Jimin's eommeoni.

(A/N: Her name can be romanized as Sim Sunmi.)

"How do you do? I'm Kim Seokjin." This is supposed to be our first time meeting.

Don't get nervous. Act natural. I'm wary of saying something wrong, as I remember us meeting in a previous loop.

My intention today is to bring Jimin up naturally and persuade her to discharge him from the hospital. I need to figure out a way to bring Jimin into the conversation.

While I'm thinking about how to begin, someone approaches us. "Oh, have you two met already? I should have introduced you myself..." It's Jo Jinmyung, the principal of Songju Jeil High School. "What were you taking about?"

"We just said our hellos."

"Is that so?"

Jimin's eommeoni takes a step back, offering some privacy as the principal and I begin a conversation. I start to feel nervous, afraid Jimin's eommeoni will disappear. Wait... No, I think I can use this situation to my advantage. I feel like I can change to subject to Jimin if we start talking about school now.

"Do you know each other?"

"We've met a few times at gatherings. I was told her child used to be a student at our school."

"Ah, really? I attended Jeil High too." Jimin's eommeoni looks taken aback at my comment. I use the moment to press on.

"What is you child's name?

Jo Jinmyung: I don't know, either. Now I'm curious to who it is.

Shim Seonmi: ... You probably don't know him, since there's a slight age gap.

"Well, you never know."

Shim Seonmi: His name is Park Jimin.

Yes! Jimin's name is mentioned as I intended, and I respond brightly like I know him. "Oh, do you mean Park Jimin who transferred from Munhyeon Middle School?" Jimin's eommeoni nods, a wary look on her face. "I know Jimin! We were close. Is Jimin doing okay?" The question can sound cruel to people who know how Jimin really is.

Will she be able to say Jimin's well, even if it's an empty lie? But she says nothing. She stands there for a moment, stone-faced. "I just spotted someone over there that I need to go to say hello to... I'm sorry, see you next time." And quickly removes herself from the situation.

The conversation can't end like this. I quickly wrap up my conversation with the principal to go talk to Jimin's eommeoni again.

"Shim Seonmi's here too?"
