I park the car near the main gates again today to wait for Jungkook to get out of the school. I soon spot him between the other students.

"Jungkook-ah, over here!" I've been visiting Jungkook after school every day.

"Is it okay for you to come every day like this?"

"Yeah. I come to see you because I want to." Jungkook avoids looking at me directly out of awkwardness, but he smiles.

He should feel more comfortable by now... But Jungkook's still taking cues. "What should we do today, Jungkook-ah?"

"Is there anything you want to eat?"

"Hmm... I'd like some tonkatsu."

"Tonkatsu? Now that I think about it, that snack shop near the back entrance was really good."

"Yeah, that place. You liked going there."

"Huh? You remembered? Is that why you want to go?"

"No, just..."

"Don't you like pizza more? Let's have pizza."

Jungkook perks up at my comment."... Can we? I'd like pizza."

"Okay, how about we go to the library afterward? I have exams coming up, too." 🔴

"What do you usually do with your friends after school?"

"We just... Go to the PC café or play soccer sometimes."

I respond cheerfully to his comment. "What games are fun these days?"

"You're bad at them, though."

"You can teach me." Jungkook grows silent. He avoids looking at me. "... Alright. I'll just watch you from the side."
