Chapter Seventeen- Fix You

I held on to Luke’s hand tight and closed my eyes afraid to see my outcome. “EXTERMINATE!’’ he shouted as the dalek came closer. ‘’Luke I love you’’, that was the first time I ever said to him. He looked at me, ‘’I love you too Charlie’’ he said and kissed me on the head. ‘’EXTERMINN....’’. Then it stopped, ‘’what happened?’’ I asked. ‘’I told you to stay with me’’. I looked down the alley way to see my father saving me again. I ran and gave him a hug. ‘’Thank you again’’. “That was a dalek, there very dangerous I don’t know how one came to you but they should stay away now’’ he said. He brought me and Luke back to where the tardis was parked. ‘’I was getting worried I would never get home!’’ Jullianna said. ‘’Don’t worry Jullianna we’re going home now’’. Luke whispered something in my father’s ear and he nodded. ‘’We are going home right?’’ I asked. ‘’No not quite yet’’ the doctor said. He went back to the tardis door; Luke followed him, while I and Jullianna followed him. ‘’Where are we going?’’ I asked. ‘’You’ll see’’ said Luke. I followed him to be school. ‘’Why are we back at are school?’’ Jullianna asked. Luke took my hand and led us to the auditorium... ‘’And now to Luke Campbell!’’ the man on the microphone said. ‘’Wait what?’’ I asked confused. ‘’Just sit down’’ he said and ran up to the stage.  I sat down in between my father and Jullianna. Lights dimmed and the music started playing. That was the song, the song I never heard him finish. ‘When you try your best, but you don't succeed’’, ‘’ When you get what you want, but not what you need’’, ‘’ When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep, stuck in reverse’’’, I looked over to my Jullianna while she glared up to the stage with a big grin on her face. ‘’ And the tears come streaming down your face’’, ‘’ When you lose something you can't replace’’, ‘’ When you love someone, but it goes to waste

My favorite part of the song was coming up the famous chorus everybody knew. ‘’Lights will guide you home’’, ‘’and ignite your bones’’, ‘’and I will try to fix you’’.  Luke looked down at me and smiled.  ‘’ And high up above or down below’’, ‘’ When you're too in love to let it go’’, ’’ But if you never try you'll never know,

just what you're worth’’. I looked over to my father, the mad man with the box who was the one who fixed me. ‘’Lights will guide you home’’’, ‘’and ignite your bones’’, ‘’and I will try to fix you’’. I tried my best not to cry but this time if I did cry I wouldn’t run and leave to go to the auditorium too cry. I was a strong girl who after sixteen years found her time traveling father, I was a girl who loved her father more than anything and knew he loved me the same way. ‘’ Tears stream down your face’’,” When you lose something you cannot replace”, “Tears stream down your face, and I….’’.  ‘’Tears stream down your face’’, ‘’I promise you I will learn from my mistakes’’, “Tears stream down you face, and I…’’. The last part of the song was coming up and I loved it. The song got slow again, ‘’Lights will guide you home’’, ‘’and ignite your bones’’, ‘’and I will try to fix you’’. I stood up and clapped. He had sung the song perfect and I was glad I stayed.
