The green forest of the bayou was quite bright this morning, she had missed the soft ground and the trees around her shack. It had been at least eleven months since the last time she stepped foot in the place that saw her born. Her eyes were closed as she inhaled a deep breath, a peace welcoming her body every time she visited the tree made-graves of her loved ones.
Each name carved into the wood of the trunk, flowers always resting proudly at the ends, flowers she planted with Monica and Violet's help one time they came to visit the pack, which settled last year back home. It brought peace to imagine that maybe they were also all in peace, together, watching over her.
She was currently in the bayou while Hayley and the Mikaelson clan tried to forge a plan to rescue the Original hybrid from Marcel's captivity. She was informed about it all but if she was to step foot into New Orleans, first she needed to visit her place and family. Besides, Marcel always knew if she was in town, it was like a radar they both had about the other.
