Author's POV

"Liar" Arjun hissed throwing a vase whose shards scattered all over the floor after colliding with the wall.

Advik was watching him with shock filled eyes. He couldn't decipher what went wrong with Arjun. He was hurt, fine...but that's not the way you behave.

He tried to stop him but couldn't as Arjun wasn't even in his senses. The room was destroyed with shards all over the white titled floor and a broken table.

After getting tired by throwing things, he finally stopped and started taking deep harsh breaths. He was visibly shaking, the veins on his forehead were popping out.

"Just a dinner" he started in his hoarse voice, "A fucking dinner....and she lied. She went with another man but she denied my offer" he chuckled darkly slamming his fist on the bar table.

"Arjun, stop it" Advik hissed snatching the glass from his hand. Arjun was badly drunk already and Advik needed to stop him before he could cause more damage.

Arjun chuckled shaking his head and went towards his bed. He was blabbering something which Advik couldn't listen clearly.

Advik sighed rubbing his forehead as he watched his friend's passed out figure on the bed.

He couldn't believe that the man lying in front of him is his same sensible friend. How could he behave like a spoilt child whose toys has been snatched from him.

Giving a last look to his figure, he stormed outside the room.

A gush of cold breeze hit her as she shivered folding her hands in front of her chest. Armaan noticed it but he didn't has a blazer to give her which made him curse himself.

They both were walking on the empty road. The weather was pleasant and windy.

"I am leaving next week" Armaan broke the silence making Saanvi stop.

She looked at him with questioning eyes. Her eyes indeed showed sadness. Sadness of not being able to see her best friend for god knows how long

"Oh...so suddenly?" She asked putting a light smile on her face.

"Yeah. Some urgent works" he stated and they both continued walking as again the silence fell between them.

Armaan gazed at Saanvi and at that moment, he wanted nothing more than to just take her in his embrace tightly.

His heart was racing wildly while his lips were quivering to utter the words he has kept inside his heart for so long. He wanted to let them out and tell her how exactly he feels about her.

But he couldn't gain the courage to do so. The fear of losing the amazing friendship between them took over him.

Sadly, he decided to keep those things in his heart only.

"Ice cream?" He asked trying to lighten the mood.

"We are in front of my house" she said while laughing and that's when he realised that they actually were in front of her house.

"Coffee?" She offered but he denied saying he is tired.

"It was an amazing night, Arru" Saanvi said smiling sheepishly to which he nodded.

"I wish Aunty could have joined us" Armaan expressed though from inside he was quite happy that he got to spend some alone time with the love of his life.

"Yeah" Saanvi agreed and gave him a friendly hug before saying goodbye.

Armaan wanted to hold her for a while. He just didn't want to let her go...yet.
