                        AUTHOR'S POV
                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saanvi was enjoying the love her mother was showering on her. After filling her stomach with yummy food made by Namisha, she was relaxing while keeping her head on her mother's lap.
As always, one touch of her soft hands and she almost forgot all her miseries.
Somehow, she acted quite well in front of Namisha. She told all the lies she had prepared during the drive to her home.
Thankfully, Namisha didn't notice the grief behind her daughter's facade. How could she? When Saanvi did a fabulous job at hiding it.
Whatever she told her mother regarding Arjun, seemed genuine.
Her mother is at ease now. Seeing her daughter happy and glowing. What else could she want?
"Won't you stay tonight?" Namisha asked raking her hand through her daughter's hair.
"Umm..no" Saanvi answered with a heavy heart.
When Arjun said he will pick her up by the evening, she understood his intentions.
He didn't want her to stay for a night at her own house.
"Oh, it's fine" Namisha said and Saanvi didn't fail to detect the sadness lingering in her tone.
Knowing her situation, she can't even ask her mother to go with her in Arjun's mansion and stay with them for few days or maybe months.
Living in the same city yet she can't live with her mother just for few days.
"Saanvi, what are you thinking about continuing your work?" Namisha questioned while her fingers softly massaged Saanvi's head.
Saanvi sighed closing her eyes.
This thought didn't even cross her mind till now.
She is sure Arjun won't let her work. In these two days, she has known him this well.
"Yeah I will think about it" she replied absent mindedly.
Her job has always been her top priority. She never took it for granted. She knows how her mother has struggled to be able to meet her study expenses.
"You should visit Mausi. They were asking you to spend some days in Auli. It will be refreshing for you as well." Saanvi suggested to which her mother hummed.
"Maa, will you please pack some chicken curry and kheer for me" Saanvi asked.
Namisha chuckled and nodded her head.
"They make good food but still" Saanvi stated sadly.
She has missed her mother's hand made food terribly these two days.
The maids do make quite tasty meals but the magic that her mother creates while cooking is just commendable.
They kept chatting the whole day. They even saw their family album and shed tears as well.
The day went exceptionally well for Saanvi. In her mother's embrace, she felt so relieved and happy.
"Tea?" Namisha asked to which Saanvi nodded.
Saanvi's smile fell suddenly, tears filled up in her eyes. The sudden urge to cry loudly took her in it's grip.
She glanced at the wall clock and her heart broke seeing the time.
He would be here in half hour.
How badly she was wishing the time to stop just right there.
She didn't want to go with him, in that mansion again. She wanted to stay here, in her home. Sleep on her bed. Watch tv serials with her mother.
