Her trembling form was witnessing him chugging down the bitter liquid. She shook by the sound of glass which he slammed on the table.

She was cursing herself for doing this stupidity but had she any other option? His fear only made her do this.

The sounds of his harsh breathing filled the room, mixing with the pitter patter of rain.

It was raining cats and dogs since the evening only.

Saanvi was petrified but keeping her mouth shut, was not an option either. She felt humiliated and disgusted when he accused her of something she never did.

"You wanted his attention, no?"

She closed her eyes remembering his venomous words.

Arjun gave her a sharp glare and ran his fingers through his already messy hair.

"Why the fuck are you silent?" He hissed grabbing a fistful of her hair.

She glared st him showing her anger towards him.

"Tigress. Tsk tsk" he chuckled bringing his face closer to her.

She moved her face away as his alcohol filled breath made her nauseous.

She wanted to puke.

The smell of alcohol was so strong and she hates it since forever.

"Stop this madness, Arjun" she told him bravely. Not stuttering a bit.

He looked at her amusingly.

"What madness? I caught you red handed, Love" he whispered placing wet sloppy kisses down her neck.

Tears gathered in her eyes but she controlled them anyhow.

His lips felt poisonous against her skin.

"Tell me, Saanvi? He whispered in her ear while his other hand made it's way under her kurti.

She flinched feeling his cold hand on her warm skin. She could already see what he will do tonight but wasn't ready to accept it yet.

"Did he touch you like this?" His voice turned raspy and bone chilling. "Tell me, did he kiss you here?" He said before placing a hot kiss on her jaw.

Saanvi dug her nails into her palm. He was accusing her of infidelity. The thing which she despises the most. No matter under what condition she got married to him but she will never cheat. She has some morals.

"Tell me" he hissed grabbing her jaw painfully.

"Leave me, Arjun" Saanvi gritted.

Her orbs were showing the burning rage for him. He has stoop even lower in her eyes. To a place from where he will never uplift.

"Why should I?" He asked jerking her towards him.

She was trembling from inside seeing his eyes. They held madness, pure madness. They were telling her that he will show no mercy tonight but she was not going to loose without a fight.
