Author's POV

She wiped the blurry glass by her hand to see outside clearly. A disappointed sigh left her mouth seeing the white snow, which was laying on the floor like a long carpet.

The weather forecast had predicted it just a day ago and here it was happening already.

"I have packed extra warm clothes. It will be more colder there" her mother was ranting continuously while pacing back and forth in the hall, doing household chores.

"Your Mausaji is coming. Go get ready" Saanvi's eyes were fixated on the peak of the mountain which was not clear to her.

"Saanvi...Saanvi" Saanvi flinched when her mother shook her shoulder.

"Yes?" She asked perplexed.

"Are you even listening to me? I said go get ready. Your Mausaji will be here anytime" Namisha said to which her daughter just nodded before going inside her room.

As soon she left, a sad look covered Namisha's face. She knows her daughter is not happy and that she is scared but she can't do anything about it sadly.

Saanvi took a quick warm shower and wore her clothes.

She got ready quickly and it was time to leave her room now. Before stepping outside the room, she looked behind as tears sting her eyes.

The room which provided her warmth and comfort, when she left her own. The room where she spent four months. The window which is comparatively smaller than her own room's window but gave her some amazing views of outside.

Only one word left her mouth.

You will burn in hell, Arjun.

She quickly wiped her tears and stepped outside finally.

Saanvi greeted her uncle by touching his feet. Sanjay, a fifty year old and a small businessman. He has always loved her like his own daughter.

"Please have breakfast" Namisha offered him.

"My stomach is full, Didi. Your sister forced me to eat everything she has cooked this morning" he complained to which both Namisha and Saanvi chuckled.

He is a funny man. They always enjoy and laugh around him because he loves to crack jokes on every possible thing.

"Let's go" Saanvi nodded and followed her uncle.

"Don't forget to take your medicines on time" Saanvi ordered her mother strictly though her voice quivered and tears soon started falling down her cheeks.

"Okay" Namisha mumbled before taking Saanvi in her embrace, hugging her tightly.

Her uncle, Sanjay sighed sadly and cursed the man who has made their life a living hell. He will make sure that Arjun doesn't harm Saanvi or Namisha.

Saanvi sat inside the car and looked at her mother's retreating figure with teary eyes.

That day, her heart cried and her soul cursed him. She will never forgive him. Never ever.

"Di, did you like our room?" Janhvi, Sanjay's daughter asked Saanvi.

"Yes" Saanvi replied smiling at her little sister.

Though, they are cousins but since they have no siblings. They always treated each other as their own sister.

Saanvi always guided Janhvi in her career decisions and Janhvi respects and loves her a lot.
