AUTHOR'S POV

"What have you done?" A loud voice made her flinch and the gauge fell off her hand.

"I...actu-ualy...

"Not a word" he ordered storming in her direction with anger and worry filled eyes.

Isha's lips trembled and few tear drops fell from her eyes. A hiss left her mouth as her husband touched the deep wound on her left foot.

"I told you to not do any work" he said in a scolding manner.

He cursed inspecting her wound which was not that deep but for him it was. His heart was clenching in pain looking at his wife's miserable state.

Although it was not his fault at all but still he was blaming himself.

"I was just trying to help Maa" she told him in a low voice, sniffing and wiping her tears.

"I am also at fault, Advik. I shouldn't have taken her help" his mother said looking with disappointment and guilt at her daughter in law.

Isha was told by her husband and mother in law to not do anything other than going to washroom and coming back. They have strictly told her to rest on the bed completely.

But Isha being Isha, how could she obey? She saw her mother in law cooking in the kitchen and she decided to help her.

Her mother in law didn't allow to enter her in the kitchen but she tricked her by blackmailing her emotionally. While cooking, the plate fell from her hands and hit her foot.

"I will bring the turmeric milk for you" the old lady said exiting the room.

Isha gulped and looked everywhere but at her husband who was glaring at her.

He bandaged her foot and then grabbed her arms, yanking her towards him.

"This is the last warning, Isha. The next time I won't go easy on you" she nodded her head instantly.

He leaned and pecked  her lips multiple times.

She blushed and hid her face in his chest.

How lucky she is. Her husband can't see her in pain.

She smiled and thanked God.

Saanvi opened her eyes by the faint sounds. She sighed looking at the clock. The sun was shining brightly outside as it was noon. Her phone was ringing continuously but she was in deep slumber so couldn't answer it.

Looking at her phone, a smile came on her lips.

"Pranaam, Maa" she greeted her mother with a smiling face.

(Greetings, Mother)

"Khush raho" her mother's voice came from the other end.

( Be happy)

"How was your trip? Thank god you came back. I was missing you badly and this network issue arghhh" Saanvi complained.

"Even I was worried about you." Namisha muttered sadly.

She went to Char Dhaam Yatra with her sister and her family. They enjoyed a lot but Namisha was always worried about her daughter's well being.

The places where they stayed for almost a week had very poor network so it was nearly impossible for her to reach her daughter.
