I follow Eric out of the market. I watch how every muscle of his body moves as he takes strides forward. My strides match his keeping up evenly to his pace. His pack has eyes on us as we walk and I can hear the whispers passing through the crowds of people. They watch in wonder and curiosity. They wonder if they will not have two Alpha. They are curious about how this will work for heirs. It's all a mystery to them and they want to know. But some of them are nervous and some of them don't want it. Usually the elders. They do not approve. But right now that is not my concern. My concern is Kym. I need her back by my side. I felt when they put a magic barrier on her to prevent her use of magic. So I've now allowed all my magic to flow freely between us two so she can stay strong and be kept alive.I watch as we walk west out of the market. I know for a fact we are headed to the packhouse but I need to figure out where they put Kymie. And I need to find out what the trails are so that I can give her a heads up, but I must play my cards right. Eric seems upset, but I do not care if it means I can help my sister. As we walk I begin speaking. "Why are you such a stubborn ass?" I smirk as I see his muscles tighten as he tries to hold back his anger."I am doing what is right for my pack for their safety. Your sister, she is a clanless witch she is more of a danger than even you can be aware of. I don't trust her, her scent does not seem complete, it seems off. But I do not need to explain myself to you, my mate. I am the Alpha and I am in charge. You just have to follow along for the ride. You may be a male but you will not be the main Alpha. Your position will mostly be doing the work that a typical luna wolf would do." Anger boiled in me as I heard him speak. He has no idea what he is getting himself into. He doesn't yet know that I am a hybrid and once he does he will kill both me and Kymie. I try to calm myself down but my wolf shines through making my eyes turn into a silver color as a low growl leaves my lips.Eric's breathtaking blue eyes connect with mine when he hears my growl. I see the curiosity in his eyes. My eyes should not be silver, no wolf's eyes are silver, but my wolf is laced connected with my warlock magic making my eye color silver. My growl is powerful too. The power of two wolves and two witches, the power of my blood, of my sister, of our ancestors. A growl that can even rival an Alpha. A challenge.Instead of that angering him he laughs and curiosity seems to fill him before he continues to walk towards the packhouse. He shifts into his wolf. I see how every bone of his body shifts and cracks but it is only a matter of seconds before his large chocolate brown colored wolf appears in front of me. I look at him for a minute admiring his wolf not being able to help myself. But, I shake my head slightly before shifting into my wolf. And with a little help from my magic, I am able to push my hybrid mark into hiding. Or else he would have noticed the white mark on my fur that illustrates two wolves and witches intertwined, me and my sister, the mark of the hybrid twins. But I hide it, therefore my fur is almost completely black besides the white tip of my tail and my one white fur paw which happens to be my right front paw.I let Aiden push forward. As I am put in the back of my mind my wolf takes over. And I see that Eric does the same with his as his eye color darkens to a dark blue instead of their clear ocean crystal blue that they naturally are. Our wolves circle each other. They look up and down. We are both basically the same height if not he is barely an inch taller than mine.Usually when two mate wolves meet the female wolf will raise her head exposing her neck to show her submission. But in this case, both of our wolves are powerful. Neither will bow down to submission even for their mate. We continue to circle each other and I can see Aiden analyzing his mate.I believe if the salutations were different Aiden might have submitted Eric's wolf to his mate. But under the circumstances we are in he will not submit. Aiden misses his twin, he misses Crystal, Kymie's wolf. He will do anything to get his other part back by his side. But I can sense his need and longing for his mate nonetheless. But Crystal and him are family, blood, united in one soul. He can not let himself be toppled by his mate or all hope will be lost for her.We remain like this for what seems like an eternity, but in reality, it must have only been about 5-7 minutes long this encounter before Aiden marches to take his lead to where he believes is the packhouse. Eric's wolf hurries and catches up with Aiden easily before he leads the way to the packhouse. We run through the forest, as Aiden focuses on following Eric's wolf to the packhouse I focus on memorizing our route. I feel my paws hit the ground as the wind pushes past us and I feel calmed by the wind, but I can not be completely at peace needing Kymie here for that. Out of instinct, I check for any threats hunting for me but none seem to appear. It doesn't take that long to get to the packhouse but when we arrive before I can look at the building Aiden gives me back control and I shift back whilst Eric does the same. We both stand there for a moment before Eric says, "Your sister starts her trial in 3 hours. Usually, these take days to prepare but since she is your sister I will give her the chance to be able to get out faster. Though this will still be a process that takes a minimum of 3 days. Because she will only go through one of the three trials a day. But some of the trails might take her to be able to figure out. We will be present during the main parts and if it takes her longer than the reasonable time she will be filmed as she finishes completing that trail. I will evaluate if she passes and then we will see what happens."The way he speaks so emotionlessly and without real care about what happens to my sister brings me anger as I look at him and punch him in the face. I hear a satisfying crash of his jaw and he looks upset. "I am not a female wolf. I will not be spoken to as one and I will not tolerate your disregard for my sister. I hope you understand that because if not it will be a whole lot worse than a punch you will receive." I growl at him, my eyes connecting with his.I see the anger bubble in him as his wolf surfaces and he gets out a deep low growl. "You are not the Alpha and you will submit to me mate. Don't you forget that I am more powerful than you, I am the Alpha of this pack and you will do right to not forget that?"Aiden boils with anger and without my consent goes to the surface changing my eyes back to silver, "Is that right? What is your name my dear mate my name is Aiden." He says surprisingly calm but I know it will go back as soon as I feel Aiden smirk."My name is Keith. Thank you for respecting me, my dear mate. Now you need to submit." The satisfied smile that lays on Keith's face doesn't last long as Aiden starts laughing."Oh, you think I will submit. That is where you are wrong my little mate, my little Keith. I will not submit it to you. You may think you are more powerful but you are wrong. You do not know me, and you do not know the power I hold. Don't threaten me ever and don't think you can beat me." Aiden smiles satisfied by the growl of anger leaving Keith's mouth before Aiden lets me gain back control. Once I do I notice that Eric is back and he is equally as mad as his wolf is, but I do not care. Before Eric can say anything I turn around and take long confident strides to the packhouse as I do so I mindlink Kymie. Your first trial is in 3 hours. I could not figure out what it is but it could take anywhere from minutes to days to complete. Be careful my dear sister and remember my magic is your magic and my power is your power. I wait for a minute for her reply before I can sense her in my head and I sense her smirk. Then let the games begin my brother, we will beat them as one even at this length apart.
