Meaning of Roses

Spot's p.o.v

"Achoo! Achoo! Uh, who is talking about me!" I groan as I try to walk around Paris on the roofs of houses but have to stop constantly due to me sneezing.

"Maybe you have an allergy? I think those can still develop even after someone's childhood. Or maybe it is just the fact spring is here?" Kitty cat asks me with a bit of concern as he walks beside me.

"Probably spring. Achoo! Uh, I hate my daddy's genetics. Achoo!" I sneeze again as I can feel the pollen messing with my nose.

"I think that is like the eighth time you have sneezed in the last two minutes. Are you sure you are okay?" Alley cat asks me worriedly as he holds me by the shoulders as I look up to him.

"I am completely fine trust me. It is just a bad combination that happens every year." I state matter of factly as I grab my yo-you getting ready to swing only for me to sneeze one more time and my yo-yo hit me one the head as I yelp in pain and hold my head. 

"Yeah, I am going to say no to you using that yo-yo as a means of transportation. How bad can your dad's genetics be if you sneeze this often when it is spring?" Alley cat asks me as he takes the yo-yo from me and motions for me to jump on his back which I do without even thinking about it.

"It is not that it is bad, it is just that once both of us start to sneeze once it is like a domino affect that is followed by a bunch more till we are a sneezing mess. I once sneezed before I got in the shower and I still continued to sneeze in the shower and when I got out for when I had to blow dry my hair." I say light heartedly as I remember that night as a smile makes its way to my face as a small laugh escapes my lips.

"How did you even take a shower that night if you were sneezing in the shower? That seems impossible." Kitty cat asks me confused but I could tell he was smiling trying to imagine that scenario in his mind.

"By some miracle it actually happened. Trust me kitty cat, trying to take a shower while constantly sneezing is not easy." I state as I swat his costumes ears as his laughs at my actions. As he continues to carry me on his back we soon come to the statue that was made of both him and the original Ladybug that was right beside Marinette's house and I could see some roses around the statue. More specifically around Cat noir. "Hey, Alley cat, over there." I point to what I was seeing as he stops in his tracks as his sights land on the statue as he jumps down to it and sets me down as we both walk up to it.

I watch as Alley cat, walks over to the statue of him very slowly and I can see so many emotions swirling in his eyes as he picks up a rose that was placed at the feet of his statue while nothing was over at Ladybug's part.

"You still thinking about what the other you said?" I ask warily not knowing exactly how he would react.

"Yes. No? I don't know. It is confusing. I appreciate the way you treat me, don't get me wrong it is a great change of pace, but.....I still miss her. Plus that was a me from another dimension. That was not a me from the future, so there is some hope that I will not turn out like him, and that the original is good. But the way all of Paris is acting right now...they are acting like she is the villain. One bigger than Hawkmoth." Cat noir says as he hold a rose in his hand as he looks towards the original Ladybug in the statue.

"Do you really miss her that much?" I ask him wanting to know his real answer.

"I-I don't know. I mean she was the first Ladybug I ever worked with. But then again she was the first one." Kitty cat says solemnly as he goes over to sit on a bench as I follow him confused as to what he meant by that. 

"Care to explain?" I ask cautiously not knowing if there were boundaries.

"Since she was the first one I worked with I thought the way that she treated me was completely fine, and it was normal. But then you show up, my darling Spots. You....you don't treat me like she did at all." Alley cat says as his gaze falls onto the rose as he dares not to look at me.
