Cat Noir's p.o.v
It has now been a week since Marinette was akumatized, her break up with Luka, and people started to treat her a bit worse than they did Chloe. Juleka in particular could not even look at her. Everyone was disappointed in her when she could not even admit that what she did was wrong. Heck, even Lila asked if she regretted it but never received and answer, just a harsh glare.
But, that is during school. Right now I am watching m'lady pace back and forth like she is trying to solve the worlds greatest mystery as she tries to bite her nails through her suit. And even though she is still wearing her mask, I can tell that she has dark circles under her eyes.
"Spots, when was the last time you got sleep? Real sleep." I ask her softly as I walk up to her and stop her in her tracks as she looks to me confused as I move her hand away from her mouth as I wait for my answer patiently.
"It-I have-oh I can't lie to you kitty cat. I really have not slept one night at all this week. Things have just been hectic." Spots says her voice sounding a bit hoarse as she looks down. I hate when she does that. I would rather her glowing beautiful eyes look into mine since they are stunning.
"Is it your civilian life?" I ask cautiously as I lift up her chin so I can stare back into her eyes as it becomes clear that she is worried and that she has been deprived of sleep for too long.
"Both yes and no. Friend drama that I do not want to deal with. As for the no part, you remember hearing the names Rena Rouge and Queen Bee from the last fight?" Spots ask lowly as she starts to get ansty and gets out of my hold slowly as she starts to pace once more.
"Yes, I remember those names. Are those other miraculous users? I did not know that there were more in the city." I state still a bit surprised that we could have more partners.
"Well, more like I borrowed them from Master Fu and then returned them so the fight could be over. And if you want to know their identities you can always ask me." Spots says softly as my eyes widen in shock as I stiffen.
"But why would you be willing to tell me that? Wouldn't that put them in danger?"
"It is better you know who they are in case I can not get to them so you know what miraculous to take to who if we ever need them again." She says matter of factly which made a lot of sense.
"I'll ask later, but what about that has you worried?" I ask still worried since she still seems to be lost in deep thought.
"When I went to go and pick up those miraculous from him, all of the kwammis were panicking and shouting how it was happening again, some where crying, others begging me to leave, and then one was completely crying. I never got the chance to figure out why, but when I came up to Master Fu and asked him for some miraculous that could help us, he just gave me the bee and fox and shoved me out. Not to mention when I tried to return them he would not even let me enter his house and the shouts of the kwammis where louder than when I got there." Spots says lowly as a growl starts to erupt from my throat from her being treated in such a way.
"Why do you think they were treating you like that?" I snarl at the thought as I could feel my eyes glowing with hatred, but also the want to protect my precious Spots from being treated like that again.
"I don't know, and I am willing to bet that the odds of me being allowed back in that house are slim to none. Remember how I said every detail matters no matter how small? Well this detail is not so small anymore, he knows something and so do the kwammis and it is making them paranoid. How are we supposed to do our jobs efficiently if we do not know what he is keeping from us?" Spots snaps as she throws her hands up in frustration, but I could see where she was coming from.
