CHAPTER 25

I woke up the next morning in a great mood. I would be spending a whole day with Aaron. I put on my running clothes and shoes while drinking my morning coffee. I went down on our regular time seeing Aaron coming down the street.

"Good morning" he said and kissed me but I pulled away jokingly. "Why don't you let me kiss you?" he said with a pout and then both of us started laughing. "You're all sweaty! Don't touch me like this" I said when he tried getting closer. "Fine, but I get to kiss you later" he said with a grin on his face.

We ran on our usual route and as Aaron explained to me about what the schedule for their rehearsals today was. He told me about the rest of the cast so that I won't feel so weird being with them today.

"What are you wearing for the party?" Aaron randomly asked after a minute of quite. "Um I don't know yet.. Why?" I asked a little confused and I saw him blush "I wanted us to match" he said in a cute embarrassed tone. He was so adorable that I couldn't help but kiss his cheek.

"I thought you won't touch me when I'm all sweaty?" he said with a smile on his face "you looked so cute that I couldn't help it" I said feeling the red come to my face. "So you don't mind us matching?" he asked again now more confident. "I'd love that" I said and smiled at him again.

"When do you think you'll be able to come?" I asked really wanting him to be there with me even though I was nervous about him being with my family. "I still don't know. I'll ask Jeff today" he just told me a bit about Jeff before. He was the director and Aaron really liked him.

"Ok. I hope you'll be able to stay for the weekend" I said truthfully. I already told Aaron about us having a family weekend and that everyone would be there and he got very excited at the thought of being part of that.

"I know. I hope so too. We'll just talk to him today and see" he said. "Oh before I forget" I remembered my conversation with my mother all of a sudden. "My mom is a huge les mis fan, and I told her I was dating an actor that also played in one of her favorite eyes" I stopped to take a breath since I was talking fast a little nervous for no reason really.

"Anyways, she doesn't know it's you so when you come shell probably freak out. Unless she figures out who you are first since I gave her a few clues. But just don't get scared from her. Ok? She's really nice once you get to know her!" I said just as we got to my building and this time both of us going up.

We decided I'd get ready at my place than we'd go together to Aarons apartment and from there together to rehearsal space. It was still early in the production so they weren't at the theater yet. All the way up on the elevator Aaron couldn't stop laughing because of all I said.

"Can you stop laughing? She's going to go all fan girl on you and its embarrassing!" I said pretending to be annoyed, which made him laugh even more. "You were also a fan if I remember correctly" he said with a smirk on his face. "I was not" I said really annoyed this time. "Yes you were. You shut up and ran away" he said and laughed at the memory.

"Ok maybe I was a little, but my mom will be crazy. Trust me. Just please take it well" I just wanted him to be serious for a second which didn't work well. "Fine don't worry" he said coming closer to give me a hug "I'll be nice no matter how crazy she gets. Now relax" he said giving me a hug even though I didn't let him because of all the sweat.

I went to shower while Aaron made some breakfast which we ate on the way to his apartment. Aaron went to shower and I used the time to study a little. Yes, I took a book with me. I didn't plan on using it all day, but if I get bored than why not use the time wisely?  

After getting dressed Aaron grabbed his script and his sheet music and we left. We took the subway to the rehearsal space and we realized we were a bit early. Only 2 more people were there except for us. Aaron introduced us, telling me they were both part of the ensemble.

Aaron and I sat down in some corner waiting for everyone, leaning our backs on the wall but I put my head on his shoulder. It was so comfortable and I didn't want that moment to end and for Aaron to start rehearsals. "Can I read your script?" I asked after a while. I knew what the musical was about but I wanted to see how exactly everything went on. "Fine" he said and took it out of his bag.

I moved my head to his lap and he played with my hair as I started reading. Truth is, concentrating on the text was hard when I was enjoying his touch so much. I was in the middle of the first act when more people started coming and so I stopped reading as Aaron introduced me to everyone.

Everyone seemed so nice and made me feel so welcome. Brynn arrived last and when she saw me she came rushing to me giving me a hug. She was so happy to see me and I couldn't help but laugh. "You guys are together!!" she screamed happily which made me laugh even louder and I saw Aaron standing on the side awkwardly. 

"Ok love birds, it's time to take break from each other" some man said as he walked into the room and saw Aarons arm around my waist and my head on his arm. Everyone around laughed at his comment as Aaron took his hand off my waist but still kept close to me. "Jenny, this is Jeff, Jeff this is my girlfriend Jennifer" Aaron said introducing us. So this is the famous Jeff.

"It's nice to meet you" he said with a smile "it's great that you're here to show your support, but I need Aaron focused right now. So if you could please just sit on the side it would be great. Thanks" he continued talking not giving me man options as he pointed at a few chairs on the side. "Yeah ok" I said as I went over to the chairs. I sat down and then turned to listen to Jeff. Rehearsals began.
