Chapter 29: Collecting Your Bearings

(POV Y/n)
"They told me about you, even helped me get here because they knew you'd help me" Gregory explained.
"Who?" You questioned.
Gregory opened his mouth to answer.
"Who? You know him, his name is-"

(POV Change; Sun)

I arrived where Freddy was as he aided the guard Y/n came in with. I wondered how he could have been injured and why it took Y/n so long to get here.
'The Plex did go into lock down... I don't know why they couldn't explain the situation however...'
I stood behind Freddy as he checked the guard for any other injuries. From when they entered I didn't bother to get a good look at the guard, just noticing his tan skin and dark brown hair when I ran past him and Freddy, hurrying to hug Y/n. But as I stared at the guard it seemed the color from his face was drained, pale as if he'd seen a ghost. 

"Will he be ok?" I asked. I knew it was a stupid question to ask but I still hoped for a reassuring answer. Thankfully Freddy was a kind soul who doesn't judge others, so he didn't give me a sarcastic reaction like i had been used to with Moon.

"I am not sure," Freddy looked at me worriedly, then at the guard.
"Mr. Guard is very lucky he didn't bleed out. Thanks to the efforts of Y/n he has a surviving chance. But he needs medical attention, now." Freddy answered. 

I instinctively gripped my shirt, Freddy must have noticed and started asking me questions.

"Did you call for help?" Freddy asked.

I nodded, my eyes fixed on the guard who was breathing rather heavily. 

"Who did you say needed help?" Freddy questioned further.

"I told them it was you who needed help, it's a half truth. I also told them that Gregory was found and should get checked up, just in case" I replied, looking Freddy in the eyes.

Freddy gave me a soft smile.
"Speaking of, how was Gregory? I know he can be quite erm- energetic" Freddy chose his words carefully when describing Gregory, he looked over at his son.

I looked over at Gregory as well, he was by the security desk talking with Y/n who seemed shocked.
"Gregory was very interesting to watch over, I've dealt with moody children like him though heh" I nervously laughed.

I thought back to how chaotic it was watching over Gregory in the few minutes it took Y/n to get Freddy and come back. It felt like hours while taking care of Gregory since he was acting skittish.

"Gregory?!" Y/n and I yelled out.

Gregory winced, putting an arm above his eyes, presumably to block the Daycare lights. I picked up Gregory.

"We have to call Freddy and security" I stated.

"Wait! Don't call security or else she'll know where I am!" Gregory cried.

"She?" I repeated.

"Shi- I mean shoot, even if I could I don't know how" Y/n said.

"Did Freddy not give you his Fazwatch number? Each one has a code that you can enter in the message portion of it" I asked.

"No" Y/n said solemnly.
