Chapter 41: What A Day

Well folks, I ain't doing so well. I'm not live, laugh, loving life rn. I had a bit of a relapse so blame my shitty mental health for the major delay

(POV Y/n)
"How'd you put them asleep with no fuss?" Moon asked again, "usually when I put them to sleep I always get bombarded by question from both Juan and Ryn"

"Luck I guess?" You shrugged.

"Moon? Moonyyy!" You heard a familiar energetic voice call out.

"Shit it's Sun" Moon cursed under his breath, "I'm still not done some preparations"

This was bad, you needed to think of something so Sun wouldn't see what Moon had done to the Daycare. But what could keep Sun distracted? 

"Y/n, you have to distract him" Moon said. 

"What am I going to do?" You asked. 

"I don't know! The most distracting things in the world for Sun are glitter glue, Fizzyfaz, and sometimes you" Moon crossed his arms.

"Me?" You repeated. 

"Yeah, whenever you're doing something outside of the Daycare it's all he talks about" Moon explained, "it's not like there's anything else to talk about anyways, might as well join him"

Despite Moon lowering his voice at the last sentence, this didn't stop you from hearing what he said. 

"Moon where are you!" You heard Sun's muffled cries get closer. 

"There's no time, just think of something" Moon grabbed your hand and opened the nursery doors. 

Moon quickly pushed you out the doors. You stumbled outside, almost falling to the ground. 

"Y/n?" Sun was at the big wooden Daycare doors, his hand stretched out to open them. Sun held a box under one arm.

"Heeey Suuun" You awkwardly greeted. 

You quickly made your way to Sun and pulled him away from the door. 

"Y/n have you seen Moon?" Sun asked

You managed to get Sun away from the doors and close to the bottom of the stairwell. You made sure Sun's back faced the doors so he couldn't see Moon leaving. 

"No I haven't seen Moon. Hey, what do you have there?" You asked, changing the subject quickly.

Sun looked down at the box and then up at you.

"Oh these are snacks for the daycare, Moon told me we ran out and.." Sun kept explaining about what happened when he got the snacks.

You didn't pay much attention, nervously nodding and hoping Moon would make it. The doors to the nursery opened and Moon peeked his head out, seeing if the coast was clear. You nervously watched as Moon crossed the distance from the nursery to the Daycare, completely forgetting Sun was talking.

"Y/n? Are you listening?" Sun questioned, "is there something behind me?" Sun turned his head to look behind him. 

"There's nothing there" You quickly grabbed Sun's face to stop him from spotting Moon. 

Moon entered the Daycare, closing the doors carefully as he gave you a thumbs up.

Sun gave you a confused look. 
"Ookaay.. What's going on?" Sun asked suspiciously.
