Chapter 13: The Bank

Y/N's POV

So we've all been fighting the aliens for about ten minutes and we're starting to have trouble with the aliens.

I jump from a car and flip and land behind Natasha and she quickly turns around and points an alien gun at me.

I raise my hands.

Y/N: Whoa. Hey. It's just me.

Natasha sighs and rests along the back of the cab.

Natasha: Sorry.

I then see Steve and Peggy come over to us from opposite sides.

Natasha: Captains, none of this is going to mean a damn thing if we don't close that portal.

I take my mask off.

Y/N: She's right.

Steve: Our biggest guns couldn't touch it.

Natasha: Well maybe it's not about guns.

Natasha, Peggy and I look up at the sky at the portal.

Peggy: If you want to get up there, you're going to need a ride.

Natasha: I got a ride.

Natasha stands up and walks to the other side of the bridge.

Natasha: I could use a boost though.

Steve then goes to the other side of the bridge and looks at Natasha.

Steve: Are you sure about this?

Natasha thinks for a second and then she answers.

Natasha: Yeah. It's gonna be fun.

Then she runs and jumps off a car and on top of Steve's shield.

Steve then pushes her up and she lands on one of the flying ships.

Peggy: Should we be worried?

Steve looks up at Natasha.

Steve: No. No, we shouldn't be.

I put my mask back on and then the three of us go rejoin the fight.

(Ten Minutes Later)

So I've been fighting the aliens down in the street.

I take a couple down and then I get blasted back by another one.

I get to my feet and start webbing the alien and then I pull it towards me and round house kick it.

Clint then comes over the comms.

Clint: Spidey, the chitauri have civilians cornered in a bank on 42nd.

Y/N: I'm on it.

I head off to the bank and once I get there I jump inside and see one alien has a bomb.

I shoot webs at it's face and it drops the bomb.

The other two try to shoot me but I get behind cover, I see that the bomb is still gonna blow.

I kick the desk in front of me to trap them and then I attack another one and send him to the bottom floor.

Y/N: Go! Everyone get out now!

The last alien grabs me from behind and pulls my mask off and then throws me to the ground.

I grab my mask and look up at the alien and see it has the bomb.

The alien gets ready to throw it at me so I get up and jump towards the window.

I web the window to cover me from the explosion but it doesn't work fully and I get hit by the explosion and land on a car.

Third Person Perspective

Y/N stands up and looks around at the destruction and chaos that the chitauri have caused.

(Just imagine its Y/N instead of Steve.)

But what Y/N didn't know is that a woman who was being escorted out by the police sees his face.

Y/N grabs his mask and he puts it back on.

He then goes and rejoins the fight with the others.
