Chapter 42: Doctor

Y/N's POV

So after sitting in an office for a little while, Peggy calls me into another one.

Once I walk inside, she grabs me and pushes me up against the wall and starts kissing me.

After a minute or so, she pulls away.

Peggy: I'm glad you're okay.

Y/N: Me too.

Peggy walks over to the desk and sits on top of it.

She then pulls out a file.

Y/N: Let me guess you want me to sign the accords.

Peggy: No. No. I'm not gonna ask you to do that. I didn't sign them. Because I agree with you and Steve. I don't want the government to use me or any of us as puppets.

Y/N: So...?

Peggy: I don't know, I just was wondering if you changed your mind or not.

Y/N: I definitely haven't changed my mind.

Peggy: Good.

She sets the file down.

Y/N: Did they tell you to sign them?

Peggy: They did but I turned them down.

Y/N: You did now?

I walk over to her and she wraps her arms around my neck.

Peggy: They won't like it but I told them to go to hell.

I chuckle.

Y/N: Have you talked to Sharon?

Peggy: Yeah I did.

Y/N: She gave us her blessing.

Peggy: She did, did she?

Y/N: She said if I hurt you, she'll hurt me.

Peggy laughs at this.

Peggy: That does sound like Sharon.

Y/N: Good thing I have no intentions on hurting you.

Peggy: That's good to know.

Peggy and I start kissing and it starts to get heated but she pulls away.

Peggy: We should...

Y/N: Yeah.

Peggy: Come on.

Peggy and I then heads to the office where Steve, Sam and Sharon are in.

We walk inside and Steve looks at me.

Y/N: She's okay. She's with us.

Steve nods.

Then after watching the news reports again, Steve brings up a good point.

Steve: Why would the task force put out this picture in the first place?

Sharon: To get the word out, involve as many people as we can?

Steve: Right. It's a good way to flush a guy out of hiding.

Peggy: Set off a bomb get your picture taken. Suddenly the whole world's looking for the Winter Soldier.

Sharon looks at Peggy.

Sharon: You're saying someone framed him to find him?

Then I speak up.

Y/N: Thats exactly what they're saying.

Sam: The four of us looked for him for two years and came up with nothing.

Y/N: Yeah, but we didn't bomb the UN. Something like that is bound to turn some heads.

Sharon: Yeah, but that doesn't guarantee that who ever framed him would get him. It guarantees that we would.

We all look at each other realizing that something is wrong.

Steve: Yeah.

A minute or so later the lights go and we stand up.

Steve then looks at Sharon.

Sharon: Sub-level five, East wing.

Steve: Thank you Sharon. Come on.

The four of us run out of the office to find Bucky.

Once we make it to Sub level five we find guards laying on the ground knocked out.

I then look and see the doctor on the ground calling for help.

I go over to him pick him up and throw him against the wall.

Y/N: Who are you? What do you want?

???: To see an empire fall.

(Just imagine it's Y/N instead of Steve.)

My spider sense then goes off.

I turn around.

Y/N: Watch out!

Before Sam could react Bucky knocks him out.

I run at Bucky and push him against the wall, we both struggle for a moment.

He then throws me hard against the wall and I fall to the ground.

When I look up I see the doctor is getting away.

Y/N: Hey! hey!

I go over to Sam and wake him up.

Sam: Whoa.

Y/N: Come on.

I help Sam to his feet and then we go after the doctor.

Once we make our way outside of the building we civilians running out of it too.

Sam and I look around and find the doctor's jacket on the floor.

I then look to Sam.

Y/N: We gotta find Steve and Peg.

Sam: Yeah.

Sam and I then go find Steve and Peggy and hopefully they find Bucky.
