"Iris, come on or else we'Il be late." My mother yelled from downstairs.

"Coming." I yelled back as I quickly grabbed my cardigan and rushed out of my bedroom, down the stairs. My mom smiled at me as I walked past her out the door. She followed after me, locking the door behind her. I got into the car, sitting next to Gaby.

My mom hopped into the car and my dad started it up, pulling out of the driveway and driving to church.

"So that was your boyfriend?" Enzo asked as we walked out of church. My eyes widened and I placed my hand over his mouth, not wanting anyone to hear.

"Don't talk so loud.!"

He nodded and I pulled him around the building. I sighed, running my hands through my hair. "Yes, he's my boyfriend."

"Do your parents know?" He asked with slightly wide eyes.

"No! Of course not!" I snapped.

He frowned and I sighed, "I'm sorry, its just that you can't tell them, okay? I'll be in big trouble if you do."

He nodded, "I won't tell them."

I smiled "Thanks."

"He looks bad ass." He said with furrowed eyebrows. I chuckled, smiling at the thought of him.

"Yeah, he is.!"

"What are you doing with him then? You're not even close to bad ass."

I laughed, "Gee thanks."

He chuckled, shrugging his shoulders "Sorry but it's true."

I shrugged "I don't know, he's just different.... I guess I like the fact that he's mean and tough with other people but with me he's different, he's sweet and cute. He's not afraid to be himself with me, whether its in front of his friends or anybody."

He nodded "Oh, okay then."

I nodded, biting my lip, talking about him makes me miss him "Yeah."

He leaned against the wall of the church and I stood next to him, leaning against it as well. I looked into the distance, seeing Holly talking to Macy, telling her something while glancing at me. I shrugged it off and looked at Enzo. "I gotta go, see you tomorrow?"

He nodded, kissing my cheek before I walked over to my parents. I saw Holly and Macy making their way to my parents also. Holly was smirking at me and that made my stomach churn. Oh gosh, what now?

I reached my parents and my dad looked at me with a smile. "Where were you?"

I shrugged, pointing behind me. I was just talking to Enzo."

His smile grew bigger, "That's good, his father and I were just talking, they're gonna come over for dinner."

I smiled, "Great."

"Hey, Iris." Macy said, walking up to me with the fakest smile I've ever seen on a caked-up face.

I raised my eyebrows, "Um... Hey."

She smirked, "I've been meaning to ask you, how's Jason doing? I haven't seen him in a while."

My breath hitched as I saw Holly smirking from her spot behind Macy. She is honestly unbelievable. How could she do this to me? And here, really?

My father furrowed his eyebrows, "Who's Jason?"

Macy looked at him, "Her boyfriend."

My eyes widened, oh no.

My father's reaction was same as mine but for different reasons. He looked at me and raised his eyebrows, "Your boyfriend? What boyfriend?"

My jaw clenched as I slowly turned to him, licking my lips. "...He's not my boyfriend, daddy. He's just my friend, nothing more, we're just really close so everyone thinks that we're dating."

I lied through my teeth, very impressively may I add. He stared at me for a moment, his eyebrows slightly furrowing as he examined my facial expression. I knew he'd believe me, I've never lied to him before or given him a reason not to trust me. He smiled.

"That's okay then, I'm glad to know my little girl hasn't grown up completely yet." He said, pinching my nose. I laughed slightly before nodding my head. He turned back to my mom and I glared at Macy.

"Don't you ever do that again."

She rolled her eyes, saying "Whatever." before walking away.

I looked at Holly and scowled, shaking my head. "What kind of sister are you?"

She glared at me, "You started this. You knew Jason was mine but you still took him, this means war, Iris." She flipped her hair over her shoulder before walking away. I let out a frustrated sigh, running my hands over my face. Where's Jason when I need him so badly?
