One minute I was happy and then the next minute I was angry and then the next minute I was completely sad, then hungry and then crying and completely in the mood for sex.

It was frustrating, Kristrin had to deal with it all. Sometimes I felt sorry for him and sometimes I just don't. I mean he was the one that knocked me the hell up.

What perplexed me was the fact that he never got furious or pissed at me, showed no signs of irritation, and was always eager to meet my wants, especially when I was in the mood for sex.

Kristrin placed a bag on the sofa making me snicker at him. It was my hospital bag checklist.

"Will you now take me to the hospital until my water breaks?" I inquired, annoyed.

He couldn't wait to have his girl in his arms and for my hormones to vanish.

I was on the verge of giving birth any minute now, and having a quiet Kristrin only added to my anxiety. We've attended prenatal classes, Hypnobirthing classes, Lamaze classes, and a variety of other parenting classes for expecting parents.

Let me start by saying that I was overjoyed that our baby would be joining us soon, but I was scared of delivering her from my womb, even though I shouldn't be, I was frustrated.

Kristrin sat down next to me, inching closer to my lips, and when our lips met, sparks flew, and all my irritation vanished.

He had an uncanny ability to make everything better.

"Aren't you the least bit apprehensive?" he passionately kissed my hand when I inquired.

"Of course I'm nervous but I have to remain strong for both of us, and panicking would only make you stress more." He was totally correct, now that I think about it.

"I'm more concerned about the fact that you'll be at ease with my infant at home. Actually, the prospect makes me feel a lot better." He smiled as he leaned in for a couple kisses on my lips.

"Won't it make you sad that I won't be able to annoy you at work anymore?" Now that I was feeling a little blue, I tried to brighten the mood.

"That's the one thing I'll miss about you being at home, but I'd be thrilled if you and my daughter came to see me at work.... I'll simply hire a chauffeur to take you to work."

"First and foremost, I can assure you that visiting my fiance at the office while I'm not working there is inappropriate, and second, I'm more than capable of driving myself and my kid about Kristrin." I made a point about it.

"Remember, you and the baby will be visiting the hospital for frequent checkups, and I'm sure your parents would be happy with their daughter visiting her new born's father and fiance. I have no doubt that you can drive, Bella, but you must understand my protectiveness for you and our baby. Not every driver on the road is rational." Kristrin tried to persuade me to change my mind.

"All right, I'll go along with whatever you say." While his fingers circled over my stomach, I sighed, making Kristrin smile with satisfaction.

I didn't feel like debating with Kristrin. I was going to have to argue with him for an hour before he eventually gave in.

"I'm afraid something will go wrong with the delivery of our baby; what if I don't make it out, or what if my daughter doesn't make it..." Another kiss cut me off, this one possessive.

"That's why I chose Bella, one of New York's most experienced doctors. Don't worry about anything happening to you or this baby." Kristrin gave a firm warning, and I nodded.

All I wanted was his comfort.

"I just hope everything goes well because if the agony becomes severe, you can bet she'll be your last child, and based on those Braxton Hicks Kristrin, I'd say you're on thin ice Mr. Slovac." I gave him a firm warning myself.

A knock came at our door before we could finish our talk. Kristrin stood up to reveal the twins by opening the door.

"Wow, I had no idea you guys could actually knock?" I made a snide remark, as it came as a shock to me.

"Our eyes have decided enough is enough after walking in on both of you for the third and final time." Maurice's words made me laugh out loud.

"Took you two long enough." I got up from my seat on the couch.

"Baby mama," Marco kissed me on the cheek as he greeted me.

"Technically, I'm not a baby mama in the traditional sense." I had to correct him.

"Yet." Kristrin added.

"You appear to be terrified." Marco seemed to be able to read my mind and face.

"That's because I'm freaking out," I clarified my statement.

"Take a look at the present we got for our niece." Maurice took out a little pink baby cap from his pocket.

"Awe." I could never get over how lovely the outfits looked, no matter how many baby clothes these two bought, including the others.

"You two are going to be one of the best uncles she'll ever have." I was giddy with delight when I snatched Maurice's cap.

"You two should start a family as soon as possible, you'd make fantastic parents." I counseled them.

"Certainly not; pampering a child we're barely raising is a fraction of the time it takes, taking care of a baby." I rolled my eyes at another one of the twins excuses.

I was on my way to my room, about to lay down to give the grown men some privacy, when I realized what was happening.

"Oh my god," The white flued flowing down my leg made me gasp.

When I looked up, I saw all three men staring at me in disbelief.

"My water pipe broke." I informed them as I watched their faces change from startled to afraid or concerned.

"Are you certain this isn't another one of your Braxton Hicks?" Maurice inquired.

"My fucking water just broke!" I yelled.

"We have to get to the hospital right away!" Marco yelled as he and his brother dashed through the door, and I rolled my eyes at their idiocy.

Kristrin scooped me up into his arms and rushed with us to his car, making sure to carefully place me in the seat and fasten my seatbelt.

"Go get Bella's hospital bag, which is currently in the house!" Kristrin yelled at the twins as they stood outside, perplexed, and it was then that I felt a severe contraction strike me, and I screamed in agony.

I was about to go into labor!
