I started to choke on my saliva because I did not expect this nice lady to be Josh's mother until now, when I looked at her eyes. The same blue and brown eyes as josh

"Haaaa... what does he say about me?" I asked nervously

"He says you're going to be a handful, and that you killed someone... but! You're kind, funny, and always there for a friend." Camila said smiling

"Well, I guess that is all true. But honestly he's exaggerating about the kind part." I said

"I think you're kind." Camila said reassuringly

I smiled weakly at her, "but technically I'm a murderer, and an orphan."

"You poor thing, when did your parents- umm leave?" Camila asked

"My dad left when I was three, my mom died a few days ago." I said tears slowly filling my eyes.

Camila covered her mouth in shock before walking over to me and hugging me to her chest,

"I will be your step-mom in the meantime cadence, I'm so sorry." She said

I nodded and hugged her back

"You and josh will always have me." She whispered into my hair

"Hello?" I heard from downstairs

"Oh josh is here." Camila smiled

I smiled back and wiped my tears and followed Camila down the stairs.

Josh pov

I walk into my moms art studio looking for her and to buy a few things for cadence to cheer her up,

"Hello?" I yell up the stairs

I hear some shuffling and I see my mom come down the stairs followed by-

"Cadence?" I ask

"Hi josh." She says

"You met my-" I start

"You're mother," Cadence smiles, "she's amazing."

I smile back and point to some acrylic paints,

"Want any?" I ask cadence

Cadence walked over to the acrylics and pointed at a few,

"I should start painting again," she said before grabbing a huge pack of paints and a couple canvases

"Cadence that like 75 bucks." I said

"I know." She smirked

"Take them for free, I'll pay." My mom said

Cadence widened her eyes and thanked my mom for all the art supplies

We walked home after buying all her paints, I turned to cadence and she looked like a kid coming out of a candy shop holding a bag of candy.

"You really like art don't you?" I asked

She nodded her head rapidly

Cadence pov

I walk up the stairs to my room and place all my art supplies onto my new wooden desk josh got for me. I had already grabbed all my stuff from my old house and moved it to the alphas house, where I was now.

I grabbed my suit cases and un packed all my clothes and hung them in the walk in closet of my room. I then grabbed my sketchbooks and colouring pencils and placed them all on some of my shelves.

"I wonder where I should put my shoes." I mumbled to myself

I grabbed my shoes and placed them at my door-

Cadence... HELP

I heard Serena

Hello again, Cadence...

I was shocked to hear that voice

"You're supposed to be dead..."

I ran to Noah's house and slammed open the door

"NOAH!" I yelled

Noah came running down the stairs, clearly being interrupted from a "session" with Amy and looked at me with a questionable expression

"She's back."
