9. Local pub

Once we got home we both just relaxed on the sofa for a while. Both my brother and sister have gone back to their own houses now as they only came home for the barbecue. After a while we decided to head to my room to try and get ready for tonight.
"Is this like a posh pub, do I need to dress up" Keira asks me
"Definitely not" I say laughing
"What you laughing for" she asks smiling at me
"Nothing, it's just this place is far from posh kei" I say as I sit next to her on the bed.
"You ok" I ask as I look her in the eye
"Yeah" she says smiling at me.
"What are you gonna wear" I ask
"I don't know I was thinking maybe some black pant, and that nice beige top that I bought last week, and then I brought my Louis Vuitton bag with me as well to match"
"I might match with you cuz I brought my beige shacket and I might wear black jeans with it and then maybe that new Gucci t-shirt I bought last week"
"Oh that will look good" she says to me smiling as we both fall back on the bed so we're now lying down looking at each other.
"What way are you gonna have your hair" she asks
"Probably just in a high bun like always" I say smiling
"You should leave it down" she says looking into my eyes and smiling
"Why" I ask smiling back at her
"Cuz you look good with your hair down" she says while blushing
"Mmm really" I say as I put my arm around her and bring her closer to me
"Yeah" she says shyly
"I might just do that then" I say as I bring her face closer to mine so they're almost touching"
"Good" she says smiling as I lean in and close the gap between us. When our lips connect it's like sparks are flying in all directions. It was passionate yet meaningful. After a few seconds Keira tried to deepen the kiss but I pulled away knowing full well what I was doing.
"Let's get ready" I say with a smirk
"Ugh I hate you" she says frustrated but still smirking.
"We'll we both know that's a lie" I say laughing.
We both get up and get ourselves ready.
"Mum" you call out and your mum come in to see Keira sitting at the window doing her makeup and you sitting on the bed on your phone.
"Yeah love"
"How are we getting home if everyone is drinking because I was going to drive over but then my car will be stuck over there"
"Your dads not drinking at all so he'll bring us home and shur there's no point you driving when it's just me and your dad in our car, can't ye come with us"
"Yeah we might do that so, thanks"
"Alright love"
When my mum leaves I walk over to my drawer and take out some perfume and spray it on myself. When Keira is finished her make up she walks over and gives me a hug.
"Ooh you smell nice"
"Thanks"
"How come I've never smelt this before"
"It's just one I keep here for when I come home I don't have it in Manchester"
"We'll maybe you should bring it back with you" she says with a smirk
"Why" I say laughing
"Because if you wear that the next night we're out, you'll never know you might get lucky" she says smirking
"I think miss Walsh, if anyones getting lucky, it will be you" I say back laughing
We have a laugh and a joke for the next few minutes until it's time to leave and my dad drives us to pub.
When we get there it was very busy but there was a big round seat with a table i front of it in the corner and that's where the rest of my family were. When we walked in and they saw us they all got up to give us a hug. When my aunt Caroline gave Keira a hug I could hear her say "you look gorgeous Keira"
"Thank you, so do you" she replied shyly
She came over and hugged me before pointing at my Gucci t-shirt and joking "is that real"
"Yeah course it is" I say laughing
"How did you afford that" she says laugh
"Cuz I'm on a footballers wages now Car" I reply sarcastically. When I say that everyone starts laughing. When Caroline sits back down Keira sits next to her and I sit in the edge of the seat. We talk to my family and have a joke about for the next few minutes until I turn to Keira
"Do you want a drink" I ask her softly
"Am yeah please"
"What do you want"
"I'll have a cider please" she says smiling at me
"Ok I'll be back in a second" I say as I get up and walk to the bar.
"Oh my god, Leah when did you come home" the bar tender says.
"Oh I came home yesterday and surprised everyone" I said laughing
"Awh that's lovely, what can I get you"
"Can I get a cider and a Heineken please"
She goes and gets the drinks and brings them back and hands them to me.
"That'll be €10 so please" she says and I give her the money. Just as I'm about to leave my aunt Caroline comes up to me and says.
"Who's that for" pointing at the cider
"Keira" I say smiling
I know that she suspects something is up with me and Keira but she hasn't said anything so I haven't said anything either. She's one of the few people in my family that actually knows that I'm gay.
"Mhm, she says mischievously, so how long have ye know each other"
"Since I got to city" I say laughing not really knowing where she's trying to go with this.
"So how come you brought her with you"
"We'll her family are on holidays for the week and most of the girls are gone home to their families so I felt bad leaving her on her own" I say smiling
"Oh I'm sure you did" she says laughing
"What do you not like her or something" I say curious
"No she's a lovely girl, and she's good for you"
"You make is sound like we're together" I say laughing
"We'll are ye not" she asks curios
"No we're just mates"
"Oh ok" she says as she turns around and gives the bar tender her order
"You better get going I'm sure she's missing you" she says nudging my shoulder and laughing
"Shut up" I say as I walk away laughing.
"You ok" Keira asks as I sit down and give her her drink. "Perfect" I say smiling back at her.
Just as I sat down the match started.
