10. Meeting the family pt 2 and confessions

After a while of cuddling and relaxing we heard a nock at the front door and the we heard a lot of people, so we decided to get up.
"Is it acceptable to wear this" I ask referring to the essentials tracksuit that I still had on.
"Yes Lee, it's fine" she says walking over to hug me
"Ugh why do you have to smell so good" she says looking at me.
"Because I like to frustrate you" I say with a smirk.
"Well it's working" she says laughing. "Ok let's go"
She says as she grabs my hand but I'm a bit hesitant
"Lee we don't have to hide, my family know" she says reminding me "oh yeah" I say rubbing my thumb over the back of her hand. We walk down the stairs to be met by the sight of a house full of her family
"Oh god" I say sighing
"You'll be fine" she says caressing my hand
"There they are" we hear someone shout before walking in our direction and hugging Keira before looking at me "you must be Leah, I'm liz Keira's aunt" she says hugging me "hi, it's lovely to meet you" I say. We repeat this action a few times with different people before sitting down together in the kitchen. "Do ye want a drink" Keira's dad asks
"Can I have a glass of wine please dad"
"Do you want a drink Leah" he asks me
"No I'm good thank you"
"She'll have a beer please dad" Keira says looking at me and putting her hand on my leg "relax"
"I'm trying" I say nervously.
Her dad comes back and hands us the drinks
"Don't be shy Leah, if you need anything just ask"
"Thank you"
As the night went on Keira was wandering around talking to many different people while I was still sat on the sofa but I was talking to a few of her cousins about football and rugby because they play both but not professionally.
After a while everyone piled into the sitting room and we were all playing games and chatting.
I could see Keira looking around until she caught my eyes, she walked towards me as if to sit next to me but realised he cousins were there so she sat on my lap. It was fine for a while until she started moving, I knew she was doing it on purpose and eventually I had to put my hands on her hips to stop her because she was driving me crazy. She turned around and smirked at me "you ok"
"No" I said shaking my head and blushing
She just laughed at me "that's revenge for smelling so good" she said smirking.
For a finish she was driving me so crazy that I actually lifted her off my lap and put her down next to me now that her cousins were gone. Thankfully no one was aware of our actions because they were caught up in some game.
She just looked up and me and started laughing and then cuddles in next to me as I put an arm around her. "Awh would you look" one of her aunts says looking in our direction which then made everyone else look. We both blushed really hard and Keira buried her head in my chest while we both laughed.

*Time Skip*

The next few days went by fairly quick. Leah and Keira spent a lot of time with Keira's family until it was time to leave. They both drove back to Manchester and decided that it would be easier to stay together for the night so they both went to Leah's apartment and cuddled on the sofa while watching a film. It was now Sunday night and they had the rest of the week free. We'll so they thought until they got a message from Gareth wondering if everyone was back in Manchester which they replied yes to. He then proceeded to tell them that he wanted to do some light training for the week just to work on some set pieces. The next 2 weeks went by really slowly for both girls, Leah was being a bit distant and Keira didn't know why. It was a Friday evening and they were playing arsenal tomorrow.

Keira's pov
I knew there was something wrong with Leah, but I didn't know how to approach it. She's been a bit distant these past few days. If anything I thought it would be the opposite seeing as we've just met each others families and she's asked me to be her girlfriend. I decided enough was enough and I messaged her
