Is it really a good idea?

Tinignan ko ang batang babaeng hindi ko malaman kung ano ang iniisip ngayon. She's a criminal, a psychopath, and maybe she has more mental issues.

Is it really... a good idea to trust her?

"I know what you're all thinking." Nagkrus ang mga kamay ni Joker. 

"Why would I trust this crazy bitch?"

Pasimple akong napaiwas ng tingin. Exactly.

"Well, you have no choice but to trust this crazy bitch." Pagturo niya sa sarili niya. "I'm the only one who can help you."

Rinig ko ang pag-ismid ni Ivan sa sinabi ni Joker. Walang gana niyang inikot ang upuan niya. "Tsk, so what is this 'crazy bitch's plan?" Sarkastikong aniya.

I saw Joker smirked before glancing at me that caught me off guard. "You, heir of Cronus." Pagtawag niya. "The person that Principal Helena's talking about, who'll get the ring... who is it?"

Nakuha niya ang lahat ng atensyon namin. Lahat ng tingin ay nalipat sa akin. Ngayong nabanggit niya 'yon, muli kong naalala ang sinabi ng Principal kanina.

The person she's talking about...

Even though she didn't mentioned who it was, I'm sure that 'he' is the one she meant.

His stupid face popped in his mind... it's none other than...

"A member of the Grim Reapers, Heir of the God Plutus, Zeldrick." Malamig na sagot ko.

Pinagtaasan ako ng kilay ni Joker. "Hmmm, the God of wealth huh... so what gift did he had?"

"The Gift of Control, magnetism."

"Silver and Metal... did he already underwent leveling?"

I nodded. "Not long ago."

"Hmm, then at least, there's a possibility." Marahang napahawak sa baba si Joker.

"Anong pinagsasabi mo?" Kunot noong sumabat ulit si Ivan. Balak niya sana ulit na magsalita nang itaas ni Joker ang hintuturo niya— senyales na manahimik siya.

"Before you spout useless things, there's also one more thing I want to know." Umangat muli ang tingin ni Joker sa akin. "Mahalaga ang pagkuha sa singsing, pero may isang bagay pa ang mas mahalaga..."

"Sino ang magdadala at mag-aalis sa inyo sa UA headquarters?"

Pare-pareho kaming natigilan. Wala sa sariling napalunok ako nang malalim nang nakaramdam ako ng kaba at nagsitaasan ang mga balahibo ko sa katawan.

Inis na umabante si Ivan habang nanatiling nakaupo. "I told you! It's not going to work!"

"How about..." Nalipat ang mga tingin namin nang biglang magsalita ang isa pa naming kasama. Seryoso kaming tinignan ni Red. "The Raven?"

Nagkaroon ng sandaling katahimikan bago siya muling magsalita.

"He the fastest Gifted among the Generation of Prodigies, am I right? And probably among all of the students here."

Pinagtaasan ng kanang kilay ni Joker si Red at walang gana itong tinignan. "Raven? The heir of Dolos?" She scoffed. "If I'm not mistaken, I heard that he's the kid with the gift of teleportation, very handy indeed."
