(Y/n's pov)

I was napping in the sun light, when the lacrosse team ran past me and i had a mini heart attack.
One of them stepped on my front right paw.
I stood up on three of tiny legs and barked.
Ben stopped the team and seeing it was me, and i was growling.
I growled, he's so far the only person in auradon to understand animals.
Probably cause his father is the beast.

Ben then said seeing i kept my right front paw off the ground.
"Oh no".
He ran over and said hand below my paw and i let it touch and i whimpered in pain and stumbled away.
"How bad does it hurt"?
I whimpered and shifted, i handled pain better when I'm human.
And the force might have broken my right hand.
I tried not to use the injured muscles and i then screamed.
"Ahhhh".
He kept my right arm down, so i don't keep from hurting my hand even worse.
Ben turned to his team and he asked me.
"Tell me who did this".
I looked up at the team and said growling, seeing Chad sneak away.
"Prince charming son Chad".
The team stopped him and my big brother scamp said growling raising his right arm up, aiming to punch.
"You son of a-".
I then said laying my head down.
"Scampe, don't even think of useing that language".
Scamp just punched Chad and he moved to me and he side looking at my hand.
"Its already bruising".
I then said grunting my teeth.
"And judging from the pain, the bruise is purple".
Ben then said helping me up.
"We'll get you to fairy godmother".
Then a team member helped me and I waited for fairy godmother.
Ben and scamp went to get her.
The team mate offered to stay.
The guy then said starting a conversation.
"So your scamps little sis"?
I then said looking at the guy.
"Yeah, I was with him when he ran to become a street dog.
I'm a mix like my siblings, except I look like both my parents.
Im a gray cocker spaniel, im bigger than my baby sisters, and i like stuffed pepperoni pizza more than spaghetti.
But still it's my second favorite food.
(The guy smiled and I said smiling.)
I never seen you before, you must be Carlos".
I lifted my left hand and Carlos said.
"Yeah, you aren't afriad of me"?
I then said as we shack.
"No, the saying dog are judges of character, it's real.
And your a very good guy".
He smiled and said seeing the bruise yellowing.
"Wow, you heal fast".
I then said testing the muscle.
"We are technically cousins to werewolves, since magic became aware, my parents were the first to shift, scared the crap out of my siblings".
Carlos smiled and said thinking.
"I know scamp told me, you toke charge.
You then shifted and then your siblings".
I nodded and i said looking down the hall.
"My parents are probably going to be hear soon and baby me.
(I look to Carlos and he was smiling.)
How do you feel about an early lunch"?
He then said.
"I love stuffed crust pepporoni".
I smiled, grabbed my hands.
I then said.
"Its heaven, i know the people that run the place".
We snuck out.
Carlos had a free period as i do before lunch.
It turned out we share a few classes.
When we got back, my mom ran to us.
In her cocker spaniel form.
She barked and i said translating to Carlos.
"She's peaved that I left before they arrived.
(I then said to my mom, who to carlos is probably just barking constantly.)
Mom, stop, im fine see.
(My hand was yellow.)
It hurt like hell at first.
But im fien now.
I'm not a pup anymore".
She whimpered lowly and head hanged down.
I then said hugging her.
"I know, i love you to".
She then barked looking at Carlos and i said.
"Mom, this is Carlos, scamps bestie remember"?
Carlos then waved and said.
"Hi".
She then shifted and said looking at us both, sniffing the air.
"You guys had an early lunch".
Carlos then said.
"I offered.
(I looked to Carlos, why was he taking the blame.)
Sorry misses tramp".
I then said giggling with her.
"She's not upset, ever since my growth spurt I taken to eaten four meals daily".
Carlos blushed and mom said smiling at us.
"Your a great kid Carlos.
Maybe you should come over, have dinner with us".
Carlos then said.
"Sure, if that's okay-".
Dad came out barking, and i said lieing.
"It's okay with my dad, plus scamp wants to show you the new game he found".
Dad stopped barking ahen i looked at him.
He then shifted seeing my hand.
"Oh honey, your hand".
I then said.
"I'm fine dad, healing".
Dad then said.

"When i find chad-".
I stopped him and said.
"Scamp already beat you to the punch".

Dad then said looking at Carlos.
"You hurt my daughter i swear-".
I stopped him and Carlos said smiling lightly.
"I would never dream of it sir.
(He looked to me and saw i was shocked.)
She's amazing".
(Time skip)
I woke up to my boyfriend Carlos kissing my shoulder.
I turned him and said happy.
"Morning".
He then said pecking my lips.
"Morning".
I then said looking at the ring on my finger.
"It's almost like yesterday-".
He finished my sentence.
"We met".
I then said hugging him.
"The best day of my life".
He then said hugging me back.
"Mine to".
I then said.
"We got to set up for the family picnic.
And find a way to keep my dad from turning you into dog chow".
Carlos laughed and said.
"He already knows".
I sighed with relife and said.
"Then prepare for my sister, those triplets love to ask questions".
Carlos then pecked my lips again and said.
"We faced audruy wirh the others, i think I can handle your sisters".
I then said smiking.
"They take after my mom carlos, trust me, they can be scary".
He was shocked and i pecked his lips and he relaxed.
I smiled and pulled away to get dressed.
