It had been a few days since Lexi and I's big argument. I finally understood her point of view and I felt so bad. I decided to set up a surprise date for her and I. I really do love Lexi, and I want to show her that. I drove to the Rivera house around 5 pm.
I knocked on the door and Brent answered not looking happy and not saying anything. "Okay look, I'm taking her on a date to make up with her." His expression loosened and he let me in and said, "She's not here right now." "Perfect." I said and went inside the house, leaving him confused. I went upstairs and opened Lexi's bedroom door.
I bought her a dress, shoes, and some accessories before arriving at the house. I placed them on her bed along with a note that read, "Wear this and meet me outside your house at 6 pm. Bring a change of comfortable clothes. -Andrew." I went downstairs where I met Brent again. "Can you text Lexi to be here by 5:30 pm? And make sure she goes to her room." I asked Brent. "Sure, but I can't guarantee anything." Brent let me know.
