Chapter 3

LORCH KEEP on taking a deep breath as he walked side by side with Saskia.

He's annoyed.

He has been all day after a fucked up case he handled with his team but this time he's enraged and wanted to punch someone. And he couldn't name why.

Or...

He doesn't want to name it.

Whatever he's feeling is wrong.

Just fucked up wrong!

Caring or getting annoyed by seeing Saskia with another man shouldn't even touch even the veins going to his heart. He shouldn't care. Yet, when his mind went back to what he saw, his being is dragged back to feeling the outrage.

He didn't like seeing the woman beside him talking to a man- all smiling and enjoying. Probably because he's worried that his plans will not go as planned because scumbags can't fucking stay away from Sakia.

Tang'na talagang lalaki. Sa dami ng pwedeng kausapin si Saskia pa.

"Darn it..." Lorch cussed under his breath and mindlessly raked his hair in frustration.

Marahas niyang kinalas ang pagkakatali ng suot na kurbata. Kailangan niya ata makipagsapakan mukhang marami ng inis at galit ang natambak sa loob niya at parang bomba siyang sasabog.

"Boss-"

"Fucking call me Lorch," he snapped. It was rugged and just off.

Naiinis siya sa kakatawag nito ng boss sa kanya. Wala naman sila sa opisina.

Yet all employees call you boss. One part of his brain mocked.

Mariin siyang pumikit. Damn it! Ano bang mali?!

"Hindi boss. Boss kita at tatawagin kitang boss." Saskia huffed. "Boss, kung mainit ang bumbunan mo 'wag mo akong pagbuntunan. That's so uncool."

"Who says I care about being cool."

"And rude." Dagdag nito at bumunot ng malalim na hininga at mukhang pinapakalma ang sarili.

"I also don't care about being rude."

"Oh 'di ikaw na walang pake sa lahat ng bagay!" Umungol ito at mukhang naiinis na ito.

Tumigil sa paglalakad si Lorch at tinignan ito. Saskia's face couldn't be more annoyed. Her scowl was evident and she was not trying to conceal it. Her jaw is hard and her thin rosy lips are pinched. And Lorch couldn't help but get amused.

Nobody ever showed him their visible annoyance with his arse attitude when he's not in the mood aside from his family and friends. Yet, Saskia is showing him that even though he is her boss.

"Inis ka na niyan?" Lorch teases, biting the side of his lips while suppressing a smirk.

Hindi ito makapaniwalang tumitig sa kanya. "Are you real or what?"

"Feel free to poke me- aw! Hey!" Lorch lifted his arm to block Saskia's bag from hitting his chest.

Napakurap siya sa bigla dahil sa ginawa nito. No employees ever hit him like that! Just her.

"Totoo ka nga. Real na real," nakakatangina bulong nito na rinig na rinig niya naman. Umikot ang mata nito. "Don't be an arse, I don't have long patience for one."

"Woman, you do realize you just hit your boss?" Lorch reminded, brows knitted. "I could fire you anytime-"

"I have money to look for another job." Saskia confidently cut him off. "If quitting means peace for my sanity, I have no second thought about leaving."
