Chapter 28

NAGSALUBONG ang kilay ni Lorch ng pagkapasok sa suite niya ay sumalubong sa kanya ang ingay at gulo sa loob.

"What the... what the fuck are you all doing here?" he asked, surprised but excited seeing some of his brothers. Miss niya na ang mga ito.

"Visiting you, bro." Inakbayan siya ni Ruckus. "You haven't fucking visited the Island for over two weeks now. That's bad," anito saka tinulak siya papunta sa iba pa niyang kapatid.

"Group hug!!!" Rosh shouted, cracking up. 

And Lorch could only chuckle when his brothers circles him before holding him into a choke hold— some gripping his waist, others just messing his hair.

Damn it!

Si kuya Kreston na hindi talaga mahilig makigulo lang ang hindi nakisali pero nakangiti ito kahit mukhang pagod ito.

"Fuck, Lorch, we miss you!" Ani Pyr nang bitawan siya ng mga ito.

"Kumusta?" Tanong ni Kronack. "Ikakasal ka na ba?"

"Fuck off. We barely spend time together," Lorch snorted and went to the sofa to sit, beside his older brother.

"Wala pa din?" Mirrow frowned. "Over two weeks and nothing?"

"Weak," Rage murmured, earning a glare from him.

"Says the asshole who took nine years to finally have Auri," Lorch scoffed, referring to his brother's fiancée.

"Well, for your information—" Rage smirked. "We did the secret affair—"

"Affair? You call that affair? You were a virgin until you hit what? Twenty-eight— nine?" Rosh taunted. "If Kronack and our friends didn't pull a joke on you, you wouldn't even lose it." Pumalatak ito.

"May pinaglalaban ka bunso?" Dusk asked, smirking. "How old are you, bunso? And yet..." he drawled.

Lorch chuckled together with the rest, while kuya Kreston just smirked.

"Tang'na Dusk, ako na naman nakita mo." Mura ni Rosh. "At least ako, 'di nagbibilang. Ikaka-proud ako ni Kat. My kind is endangered. Ikaw?" he scoffed.

"I couldn't care less what women think about me," Dusk coarsely replied.

"Tang'na ampait mo," Pyrmont derided.

"'Kaw rin naman ah?" Grant spoke, looking at Pyr. "If your woman didn't come back— by destiny, may I quote — I bet you're still hating all the dessert in the world like a fucking lunatic." Ngumisi ito.

"Bitter parin naman si Pyr," Mir mocked.

Pyr glared but mentioning his woman was enough for his brother to shut up.

Lorch shook his head with a smile. His brothers are still the same, he sees. Hindi talaga mawawala sa kanila ang makipagbiruan na may kasamang pang-iinis. And just now he realizes he misses it. So much. But, he has no plan of going home yet and staying on the island.

"When are you going back home, Lorch?" kuya Kreston asked.

Napasandal siya sa sofa sa naging tanong nito. "I have no idea."

"We miss you," Rosh said. "Balik ka na. Umuwi na sina Kiana, Unx, Clysm, at Raven—"

"Pero wala si Sanity." Putol niya sa kapatid. "I really hope Sanity is still sane enough and go home soon. We are her family. The island— my house — is her home and not that fucking villa in Portugal." Malalim siyang huminga. "And we still have no idea where is Youri."

"Sanity is still sane. I talked to her through the phone the other day before my flight here to New York," kuya Kreston replied.

Surprise, Lorch stared at his older brother. Hindi siya tinatawagan ni Sanity. Baka alam nitong mumurahin niya ito at pipiliting umuwi. He's really worried.
