A few things to note before we begin:
- This fic is written in the style of a movie script rather than an actual novel. If you'd like an idea for a "Forbidden Love" related drinking game (with something non-alcoholic. I don't want anyone getting hurt or breaking the law), take a sip every time the phrase "A beat" comes up😂.
- My headcanon is that Rose's great-grandmother on Ron's side of the family (Molly Weasley Sr.'s mother) was a Legilimens, meaning she could read minds. This trait was passed down to Rose, which is why she can read minds in this fic.
- This story takes place in a magical boarding school full of modern-day British teens. Thus, an abundance of slang generally used by the group of people known as Roadmen is used. Not everyone speaks like this, but the slang is still prevalent. Please let me know if I got the meaning of some words wrong, as I am not British, so I do not hear this slang on a daily basis. I did a ton of research though, so hopefully, that works in my favour. Sorry if the slang gets to be too much.
- I first wrote this story when I was fourteen, and, while I've done my best to purge out the cringe from back then, there may be some left over that I missed. Sorry in advance.
- This is a cross-post from AO3, so there will be author's notes that pop up throughout the fic. Be warned, for they can get lengthy... and chaotic.
- There WILL be Romeo and Juliet references. You have been warned.
- Because Wattpad gives it's users the liberty of sticking photos and videos into their fics, I will be providing a soundtrack with every chapter that has one. Because some songs may not match the length of the corresponding scene, just pause/play the song whenever you see fit.
