Setting: Hogwarts --> Outside Gryffindor Common Room

Trigger Warnings: N/A

Insert a montage of Scorpius and Lily being happy and in love, revelling in their newfound freedom. This includes them walking down the halls hand in hand, making each other laugh, hugging, kissing, unintentionally driving James nuts with their PDA, etc. They've even decided to make quoting lines from Romeo and Juliet their little inside joke.

It is now almost curfew. Scorpius walks Lily to her common room.

Lily: Can I ask you something?

Scorpius: Anything.

Lily clears her throat and gazes up at Scorpius with a stupidly wide grin on her face. Scorpius clearly finds this adorable. He knows what this is. Lily's too big of a Romeo and Juliet stan to not.

Lily (over dramatically): What o'clock tomorrow shall I meet thee?

Scorpius (smiles back): I knew it- By the hour of nine!

Lily: I will not fail. 'Tis twenty years till then - Especially since we has't class at the hour of nine, thus we wouldst has't to skipeth class in 'rd'r to seeth each oth'r. And yond is a crime i doth not bethink eith'r of us wanteth to commit... I hath tried with yond one.

Scorpius: Snaps for poetry, and you know what? I am a prefect, yet I still forgot that fact, along with any other home but this (takes Lily's hands).

They laugh, then kiss, and the door to the Gryffindor Common room swings open. James sits on the couch, glaring out the doorway. Louis, sitting across from him, looks over his shoulder in the same direction. James calls out for his sister.

James (sternly): Lily.

Lily (irritated): (rolls eyes and sighs) Coming!

Lily carries on as James walks over to the door and takes Lily by the arm, pulling her inside.

Lily cont. (being dragged away): Goodnight, goodnight! Parting is such sweet sorrow!

James (not having it): Time's up. Come on.

Lily (paying James no mind): That I shall say goodnight until it be 'morrow!

James: Allow it, Juliet.

Scorpius: I don't know the line after that, but goodnight! I love you!

Lily: I love you too, Scorpius, Goodnight!

The door closes on Louis cackling at this exchange.

Scorpius (to himself): Man, (smiles sweetly) I love her.

Scorpius turns around and exits. Meanwhile, a child visiting from another painting is whispering something to the Fat Lady.

Fat Lady (surprised): A troll?!

The child nods, frightened.

Fat Lady: Sleeping in the boy's lavatory in the dungeon?!

The child nods again. A moment of shocked silence ensues.

Fat Lady: Right, thank you for telling me. Run along now!

The child runs back to her painting.

Fat Lady: Well then, this looks like the perfect time to scream at the top of my bl**dy lungs!

She clears her throat, inhales and screams. Loud. This is normal for her, so no one comes running. We cut to black.
