As you opened your eyes and pushed the blanket off your body

you were hit with the cold air of your room

light from your half open curtains laid on your face, blinding one of your eyes

as you stood up you could see the dust float around

clothes, books, old food, papers, soda cans...mold

laid out on your floor as you fully opened your curtains

your posters lit up from the sun light

you smiled slightly staring at them

you went to sleep every night , dreaming of your favorite character with you

and though it was fake it made you happy

you left your room and walked down the empty halls

guess mom already left

you turned on the coffee maker and leaned on the counter

you wore shorts and a *favorite character* shirt

you smiled again

walking away and laying down on your couch

sure

they were fake

they were an anime character

even if they were real they would never know you

hopefully the maker won't kill them off...

but

with your fanfiction

and dreams

they were real

you reached your hand up in the air

taking in a deep breath

and letting it fall

maybe this was how it was meant to be

what else would be?

maybe you were never to be happy

or maybe you'll forget this anime

you'll always be a simp

but still

it had taken over your life

your grades

your friends

even family

24/7 you watched or read MHA

butterfly's slowed

flowers stopped moving

the dust stopped floating around

the sun went away

as you closed your eyes

taking a deep breath

and letting it out

"(Y/N)! there you are! cmon" they chuckled

you opened your eyes

at your favorite character

smiling at you

you took they're hand and ran with them

maybe this was how it was meant to be

you'd never be happy

always feeling the dread of them not being alive

always feeling guilty

this was like hell

or heaven

or what ever else

you'd be happy with them

or

i dunno

and sure

some of the fanfiction and some of your thoughts

were...fucked up

abusive

weird

but

thats okay

because you have them 

right?
