"No." Peril said.
"What?" Scarlet said, her eyes widening in shock.
"I said no." Peril responded. "It's been ten years since you died. I've changed since then. And I can safely say that no one else here wants you dead again more than me. So deal with it."
Scarlet looked at her in shock, before blinking and yelling, "Traitor! You are my champion! You do what I say!"
"Not anymore." Peril countered. "Now, I'm General Peril of the SkyWing army, loyal to Queen Ruby."
Scarlet looked like she was about to faint. But before that could happen, Wasp spoke. "It doesn't matter. You're all going to die. In fact, we've already found a way into your palace."
The two former queens ducked away.
Queen Thorn looked pale. "Camel spit and frog guts, we need to drive them out! Qibli,"
Qibli looked up at his queen.
"Tell everyone that a battle has started."
