At the old court gym**

Ryan was busying himself by working out waiting for Tony and Neal.

"Who do we have here, our team ex-captain" Tony Evans said walking into the gym.

"You have no one to teach you on how to be punctual any longer hence why you are late" Ryan said not even bothering to look at him

"If you don't nag about anything, then you are definitely not the Ayoze Ryan we all know" Tony said laughing.

"I can see you brought company with you" Ryan said

"Huh, it seems our ex captain is not happy to see me" Kendall said

"Well the last time I checked you guys are no longer teammates" Ryan said still not sparing a glance at his former teammates

"That doesn't stop us from being friends does it captain?" Kendall asked

"So why are you guys here" Ryan said ignoring Kendall

"Well it seems the almighty Ryan is not interested in seeing we nobodies" Tim said

"I believe you guys do not just come here to see your ex captain" Ryan said still focusing on his workout.

"Just what on earth went wrong with you guys, I thought we were all good friends even before the start of the NBE" Neal said not being able to take it any longer.

"Well you should talk to your brother who is being dismissive of us" Tony said

"I am not dismissive of you guys, I just want to know why you all wanted to see me all of a sudden" Ryan said as he finally stopped his work out.

"Let go get something to drink and discuss" Neal said tossing a towel over to Ryan.

At the Ocean Basket Restaurant**

"Hmm, being in this restaurant brings back a lot memories." Tony said rather emotional.

"Is sister-in-law still the owner this restaurant?" Tim asked

"Yes, Lena still runs this place but she's not your sister-in-law" Ryan answered him.

Wesley was stunned seeing three others NBE superstars never for once did he thought about seeing an NBE player up close but now he has seen and talked with some, Jeff on the other hand was unfazed. He never knew about the existence of these guys before but with his constant interaction with Wesley, he knew how mighty they could be but he wasn't intimidated by their presence.

"Everything that has happened between us was entirely your fault." Tony said

"My fault?, how's that?" Ryan asked

"We were brothers before the start of the competition and all of a sudden you started drawing a line" Tim said

"What line were you drawing?" Ryan was confused.

"You believed you no longer need us, you were only playing for yourself and your popularity. The team no longer have you, we no longer have you" Tony said

"I still don't get it. Do you know how many assist i made for you guys, do you know how many points you lost due to you being unfocused as you guys always claim" Ryan was enraged.

"Ryan you became bigger than the team. We perform well, Ryan takes the credit. We perform badly Ryan still takes the credits while we carry the blame for not supporting him well" Kendall said sounding rather aggressively.

"Even Sim and Joe couldn't take it any longer. We just couldn't get rid of you. Having you as an opponent will still make us look like the bad guys. Even the NBE does not seem to care about how you affect our team but they rather promote you to be the face of the competition" Tony said

"You were aware of this but you still act as though nothing is wrong. You were the major reason for our decline in recent years. The fans doesn't know this and would not want to know because they were blinded by your contributions in every game" Tim said

"Which was why we called it quit and all left the team. We were supposed to be a team but it was like we were just stepping stone for you. No matter how well we played nobody acknowledges us but give you all the praises whether you are on the pitch or not." Tony said

"Guys you never told me anything about this. It was not my fault, you should have informed me and we could have found a way to re...." Ryan was interrupted

"A way to resolve or what are you trying to say. We always try to bring your attention to this but the almighty Ayoze Ryan doesn't care about us or have time to listen to us. The only thing you do is nag about how poorly we played, how we should have handled the ball in some scenario" Kendall said annoyingly

"Well, that is all in the past, we finally got rid of you. I think we leaving the team was one of the best move, Evans now has the most championship trophy, the most regular season trophy and played in the most final in the history of the game. Kendall and I will also be         re-joining the Eezee Net before the start of the playoffs while I will also follow in your footsteps and also retire next season after we win the championship" Tim said

"Why leave in the first place when you still wish to come back to the team" Neal asked.

"To get him out and now he's out we're coming back. The full details will be said in the press conference" Tony said

"So what's the purpose of coming to see me?" Ryan asked stunning all of them. Does he not understand why they are here or he is acting oblivion on purpose.

"We felt you needed to know somethings" Tim answered.

"Well I'm not interested in any of that. You should take your lead now" Ryan said walking out on the group.

Tony smiled lightly as he also stands up telling the rest to come with him.
