This is the first Pride Month where yours truly actually realized that they're in the LGBTQ+ community, so I wanted to do something to celebrate. I didn't really feel like writing a oneshot because God knows I have too many books already, and I'm not sure if there's way to express pride through a song with no lyrics. Then it hit me: I've been drawing a lot recently, so why not try my shaky-A hand at that?

I watched a certain scene from a TV show on YouTube recently, and even though I don't actually watch this particular show, I thought the scene was so freaking cute and the art style was simple enough that I was like, "Why not?"

I did want to try some different art applications, but I haven't really had the time to get used to them or understand them yet. So, without further ado, my Schrödinger's wireless mouse and I present to you my attempt at drawing some Matchcil in MS Paint.

No background because I'm lazy. No, these were not traced, because believe me, they'd look a lot better if they were. (And also, I use MS Paint, so tracing doesn't really exist for me.) Believe it or not (and I don't blame you if "not"), I made these from scratch.

...Kinda. Okay, yes, I did use reference images for these, because otherwise, this would look even worse. I know it deviates from my usual "art" style, but seeing what I've put out thus far, I don't mind at all.

I actually think these look pretty good. Then again, I did copy off reference images for these, so that's probably just because it's basically someone else's art style. Yes, I know Pencil's mouth looks weird. Trust me, it looks weirder on the reference image (at least to me).

Anyway, Happy Pride Month 2022! (also ignore the fact that this is 17 days late—)
