21: Fight But Captured

*Kit's pov*

How did it come down this this? One thing I know Mario, Lucas, and I were all walking together. Then somehow we get ambushed and all of us end up running in different directions. Now I'm lost in the woods alone and I have no idea where the boys are.

I groaned as I walked around and I called out for Lucas and Mario. I mean like really how far apart did we actually go from each other. I'm trying to back track my steps in this forest, but still it's a bit hard when everything looks pretty much the same.

I groaned before I heard footsteps and I quickly turned around as I got ready. I looked around seeing nothing, but if it was Lucas or Mario they would have already showed themselves. I quickly turned around and sort of looked carefully as I walked checking around nearby trees for anyone.

"I swear, if this is some strange joke..." I quietly said before I heard something and I quickly turned around to watch an animal run by scampering away.

"Oh.... Right this forest has wildlife." I sighed as I shook my head and walked.

After a long while I looked over and smiled happily once I had gotten to the clearing and I gave myself a little victory yes. However I didn't celebrate long seeing as, I still don't know where Mario and Lucas are. I sighed as I moved before hearing a tree branch snap and I quickly turned around to see no animal. Someone's here and I don't know where.

I pulled out my sword as I looked around more. "Whoever's here show yourself, I'm armed and I will fight you if your bad" I said, although I'm still unsure of myself

I wait before a chuckle was heard and before I know it a group of cloaked people start coming out from behind trees. Now this is giving me cult vibes and I'm not into that. However as they came into view I realized that this isn't a cult, it's the people who ambushed us.

*Lucas's pov*

I groaned a bit as I looked around as I tried calling out Kit and Mario's names, but no response from either of them. I sighed as I continue to walk around, I know I've gotten lost I think I passed by one tree at least a couple of times. I groaned as I stopped walking and closed my eyes before focusing to see if I can see a water source nearby.

"God you could have beaten those people up so easily..."

I opened my eyes finding myself in Galrin's area, not where I want to be right now

"What do you want I'm kinda busy" I bitterly said as Galrin looked at me

"I'm just saying if you used your magic a lot more or use my assistance it would have been so much easier for you" Galrin huffed just circling around in the seal.

"Not happening I'm going back and don't bother me" I said closing my eyes.

"Your such an idiot"

I ignored her comment coming back finding myself sitting before I got up and then looked around before I smelt something burning. I turned looking twords the side to see some flashing glows beyond the forest and I immediately run to go find out what's going on.

I run and come to a skid stop looking around seeing fresh burns on a battlefield. This must have been Kit there's no other person who could do this.

"Kit?! Kit!?" I yelled looking around. How could I have missed this? I'm blaming Galrin for pulling me to her when really I should have been running here.

"Damnit..." I muttered getting up, but I stayed on high guard knowing that the people who may have attacked Kit could still be very close by. I just hope she's not captured otherwise that would be a whole nothing thing.

I heard something snap as I quickly turned around seeing nothing as I glared. Someone's here, they are obviously hiding, but I'm not being fooled.

"Come out I know someone's there I'm not falling for any tricks!" I called out and I waited in the silence before I chuckle was heard and people walked out.

"You guys... You ambushed us earlier." I said glaring at them.

"Why of course I mean why would we let three mages get close to our base. Our boss is quite specific"

"Where's Kit." I glared at them as I pulled up some water ready to fight as the group spread out, but when they tried to get behind me I moved attacking let and right to stop them.

"Don't try me I will hurt you." I grumbled as I gave them an angry look as the supposed leader sighed

"Alright alright.... She's right here" they moved showing Kit unconscious and tied up as I gave a surprised looked

"KIT!" I yelled as the leader laughed

"She put up a good fight, but it just wasn't good enough" they chuckled and I got pissed as I bolted firing a water spear at them as an earth wall formed up and it hit that instead.

I fight back for awhile, but with all the different magic types going against me it was a bit difficult. Some people weren't even fighting I'm assuming those who probably would work well in my favor so they took away things that I may have an advantage with.

I pushed a mage back and kicked another as I was beating their asses before someone from off the sides came walking in but they didn't do anything. My attention was brought away by someone else attacked with some plants. I dodged as I glared, they are really sticking close to me, like in my personal space making it hard to move around.

I got ready to attack again before I felt something poke my back and I turned my head only to see a metal pole before I slightly yelled as electricity bolted through my body like rapid fired guns in my chest. I fell to my knees panting a bit, these people weren't easy on electricity. Ritchie's a bit easier because he knows I'm fairly weak against shocks like that.

"Oh~ and down he goes." I glared looking up before getting a harsh hit to the head and as I fell back and  everything went black.

"Bye bye water boy"
