Chapter 36: Numb Fingers

We get a little tipsy from the bar across the street, and come back to the hostile once again to change into our club clothes.

We left the boys behind since they were already ready, but me and Rose had some work to do.

"What do you think?" Rose asks modeling a blue mini dress for me.

"Sexy" I say looking her up and down.

She laughs "what are you gonna wear?"

"I don't know." I say looking at my suitcase.

Everything that I packed was mostly black, since it went with everything.

I took out a black leather skirt and tank top.

"That'll be cool" she says.

"Yeah I think so too." I say changing.

...

When we meet the boys back at the bar they are closer to drunk.

"That didn't take long." Rose comments as we walk up too them.

"You guys are behind" Ben says taking a sip of his drink.

"Not for long though" Johnathan chimes in "you guys ready to do this or what?"

I nod "very, I haven't done this in a long time."

"Oh yeah?" Jonathan asks "whys that?"

"I was dating someone and we didn't go out much..." I trail off.

"It's kind of a sensitive topic." Rose picks up my slack" the wound is still fresh."

"It was forbidden." Ben whispers to Johnathan.

"Dude!" Rose hits his shoulder.

"Hey no need to hit" Jonathan puts his hands up " I didn't know, I'm sorry I asked."

"It's fine" I say "like she said, it's still fresh."

Johnathan gestures to the bartender, and orders us 4 shots.

"To get us going." He reasons.

The bartender slides them over and Johnathan hands one to me, while Ben hands one to Rose.

"Cheers!" He puts his shot glass up "to making Kaia forget!"

...

Now I was drunk.

I can't do shots, but Johnathan insisted on another one once we got to the first club.

He was really pushy.

He was also a really good dancer.

Ben was being shy, so he dragged me out to the dance floor along with all the other club goers.

Rose stayed behind to keep Ben company, so it was just me and Johnathan dancing in the midst of the strobe lights.
