THIRD PERSON'S POV

Jake fell asleep and woke up early. Having his clothes prepared since last night, he didn't need to worry about ironing it.

'So....'

Jake fixed his tie and stared at his reflection.

'Formal clothes are not my style but I guess I don't look that bad...'

He checked his watch, grabbed his bag and headed outside.

Arriving at the company, Jake greeted the guard and went to the receptionist.

"Hi. I'm here to get my tag... I'm the new secretary."

The lady looked at him from head to toe then smiled.

"Finally a punctual secretary... Here it is Secretary Shim."

"Thank you."

Jake smiled and nodded. He cleanly placed his name tag on the right part of his chest.

"May I ask what time does Director Park usually shows up?"

"He usually arrives at 7:45."

Jake checked his watch.

"Alright... Can you call me if he arrives? I'll quickly fix his table first."

"You took notes of what Director said? That's another plus point for you."

Jake just smiled again and bowed. He hurriedly went to the elevator and pressed the twelfth floor.

Arriving at the lonely hallway, Jake knocked first before entering.

'I don't think I need to fix anything here though?'

Jake could almost see his reflection on the glass. The table was well kept. Jake noticed the calendar on the right and scanned Sunghoon's schedule for the day.

"Two meetings in the morning then another one in the afternoon. And a dinner date with Chairman Park?"

"Is this some kind of routine for them? That's actually nice..."

Jake shook his head and fixed other things. Assuring that the office is presentable already, he hurried on his way outside.

Much to Jake's surprise, the moment the elevator opened on the first floor, Sunghoon is already in front of him.

Jake glanced at the receptionist, surprised to see her bowing to him.

'I guess he knows that I asked her?'

"Good morning Director Park."

Jake bowed as Sunghoon enters the elevator with him.

"Shall we go?"

Jake gestured their floor and Sunghoon nodded. Their ride was quiet. Jake wanted to start a conversation but decided not to due to how serious the Director looks.

"Did you went to my office?"

But Jake was taken a back when Sunghoon started talking.

"Yes... I checked your schedule for today too... Do you want me to elaborate?"

There is a long silence after. Jake couldn't help but to steal a glance at Sunghoon, curious at why he's taking long to answer.

"Director?"

He was about to ask once again when the elevator opened, signalling that they had reached their floor. Sunghoon straightened himself.

"I want my coffee by 9. If I call you, I expect you to be there as soon as possible."
