THIRD PERSON'S POV
A few minutes before Ni-Ki entered, Sunghoon just looked at Jake until the man started to move above him.
"Are you awake now?"
Sunghoon gave his softest voice, he himself was surprised to find himself speaking softly.
Jake hummed and hugged Sunghoon tighter.
"Sun it's still early."
Sunghoon furrowed his eyebrows.
'Sun? Who's that?'
"I'm not whoever that Sun is and it's certainly not early anymore Secretary Jake..."
Sunghoon might've said it but he just caressed Jake's hair instead.
"Five more minutes...."
Sunghoon sighed.
'I couldn't even get mad at you huh?'
"Fine... Just five more minutes..."
Sunghoon checked his phone and nodded.
'There's still an hour.. As far as I know, my schedule's just the same this week. So I don't need to worry about waking up just a few minutes late than usual.'
And so, Sunghoon really watched Jake for the next five minutes again.
'Warm...'
'Comfy...'
'Light....'
Jake loved the feeling of the hand on his head and the heartbeat that he's listening to.
'Didn't know Sunoo was beside me again...'
Jake snuggled to the warmth when he slowly processed things.
'Wait. I'm not living there anymore... I'm currently working as a secretary.... And... And... Director Park was drunk last night...'
Jake gasped and opened his eyes. The view of the room welcomed him and the calm heartbeat went fast.
"You're really awake now?"
Jake's own heartbeat synced on the one that he's listening to. He widened his eyes and gasped once again. He moved away and looked at Sunghoon.
"D-D-Director...."
Sunghoon was surprised but he expected it. To be honest, the Director even thought of scenarios about how would Jake wake up.
'He really looks so surprised...'
"Good morning Secretary Jake..."
Sunghoon stopped when he saw Jake's reaction.
'He's blushing?'
Jake's whole face starts to heat up. He remembered Sunghoon's voice from last night and blushed harder.
"Good morning Director P-Park...."
Jake took a deep breath and bowed, face on the bed.
"I APOLOGIZE FOR SHOWING SUCH EMBARRASSING SIDE!!! IT WAS NOT MY INTENTION TO SLEEP BESIDE YOU AND IT'S CERTAINLY NOT MY INTENTION TO SLEEP ON YOUR C-CHEST TOO!!! I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE DIRECTOR PARK!!!!!"
Sunghoon couldn't help but to smile.
'He's panicking.'
He fixed his expression when Jake peeped at him.
"It's fine Secretary Jake... Why don't you calm yourself down and tell me what happened last night?"
Jake blinked.
