THIRD PERSON'S POV

Jake waited for the others to finish before he stood up.

"Director Park... Can I talk to you at the office?"

Sunghoon immediately looked at Jake.

"Yeah sure."

His response was quicker than Jake thought.

The moment the door closed, Jake faced the five and took a deep breath.

"I would like to say something..."

Jake continued to take deep breaths before he opened the door.

"I apologize for the sudden request Director..."

Sunghoon was watching the view from outside before he turned to Jake.

"It's nothing... What do you want to talk about that you needed this privacy?"

For the past week, Sunghoon felt better seeing that Jake is slowly going back to his usual attentive and cheerful self. He was extremely thankful for the other five. They are indeed true to their words.

"I wanted to express my gratitude and apology..."

Sunghoon furrowed his eyebrows at that.

"What do you—"

He was not able to finish his sentence when Jake bowed to him, a complete 90 degrees bow.

"Thank you very much for hiring me Director..."

"Even if it was very sudden and that I was clueless on how things work, you helped me and adjusted to match my pace... I don't think I can find someone as patient as you that easily..."

Sunghoon wanted to speak. But hearing how serious Jake's tone is, he stopped himself.

"Thank you very very much... For the almost two months... It seemed to pass so slow..."

Jake took a deep breath, still bowing.

"Words are never going to be enough to describe what I'm feeling right now... But... Director Park... I'm very happy that I am your secretary."

"Thank you for believing in someone like me..."

Seeing that Jake now fixed his posture, Sunghoon met his eyes.

"Didn't I told you? You're always welcome... But Secretary Shim... You shouldn't put it that way... It isn't much of a big deal... You're hired and you stayed because you're deserving for the position..."

Sunghoon now noticed Jake's teary eyes. Before he knew it, Sunghoon was taking steps towards him.

"What's wrong?"

"Director Park I'm sorry..."

"What do you mea— No! Wait! Don't do that! JAKE!"

Sunghoon rushed to him when he saw that Jake is about to fall down on his knees.

"There's no need for you to do that..."

His grip on Jake's elbow was tight. Jake doesn't know if he should pull it or not. But he settled on the latter for now.

"I'm sorry for about the designs again... I didn't know that it was just my designs that was left..."

"That won't matter now... We found a way right? So you shouldn't apologize anymore..."

Jake nodded.

"But I'm apologizing for a different reason Director..."

"Then what is it?"
