18. What Did It Cost?

Wanda's POV

Thanos began to walk slowly towards us, I looked at the stone in my hand and realised its now or never, I have to destroy it.

Steve: Eyes up, stay sharp.

Cap ordered, beginning to run. Hulk roared and charged at Thanos as quickly as he could, leaping at the titan before blue energy surrounded the Hulk, making him go through the titan and being sealed into a tree.

Hulk groaned as he was stuck, my heart began to shudder by seeing the Avengers lose. I throw the stone and begin to use what's left of my energy and use it on the stone.

I looked behind to see Steve, T'Challa and Killmonger taken down within seconds by different stones.

I turn behind to see all the Avengers on the floor, Natasha, Sam, Okoye, Bucky. I then see Y/N turn around, giving me a nod.

He was the only one left.

I begin to tear up and realise I have to speed up this thing, I begin to use both hands, seeing slight cracks on the stone.

I turn to see Thanos aim his gauntlet at me, I shut my eyes still allowing my magic to work it's effect at the stone.

Until I couldn't feel it but the sound of energy blasting was still there, I turn around again to see someone being burned.
